No. UF fans were basically in hibernation during the Muschamp years.

eta: And the Zook years.

I'm being completely sincere, though. I think you guys should have a good feeling for this game. I think level-headed UF fans now this isn't a gimme but we have faith our team will perform better than against ECU.

You do realize we were a Pitt made FG away from playing in the National Championship in 2012, right?

I have faith our team will perform considerably better than we did in Columbia. Should be a good one.

It's not what happened on the field. It's what happened after the game.

We haven't see a passionate coach after a loss in a while.

Gives us hope that our team might pull their heads out of their asses and play like they can.

Yes.

Do you have a point you're trying to make?

A win is a win. They don't place an asterisk next to particular point spreads. Ask the West how tough games were last week.

Florida should be better. They've always been better. They are in a hot bed of talent in Florida for recruits etc, so it's merely reload time. No excuses.

For us, (Finally), after redshirts and recruiting under Stoops, we are seeing SEC type talent. Unless Coach Stoops decides to quit working hard, I suspect going forward, we will be better every year.

For a program like ours, who didn't sink a fricking dime into football for 30+ years, it's a long time coming. The current situation, and the future looks exceptionally bright for us. Streaks are something you hold onto when you don't have much to look forward to.

See ya Saturday. Good travels if heading up.

So because Mac got all upset, you think that'll translate into demonstrable improvement, ok. crazier things have happened. That's a reasonable point of view.

Edited to add: this was not sarcasm, though it reads that way.

Not during the Zook years. We sold out every game.

Muschamp was the only one who didn't sell out games.

I'm pretty sure since the early 80's.

Good lord. You sound like a Bama fan. Football is life and super serious and nothing else matters.

Have a great weekend everyone. This place is bat shite crazy.

I'm talking about just around town. You didn't see a ton of UF stuff during the Zook years.

I think most UK and UF fans know it will be a nail biter either way. If any team wins by more than 10+ I'll be surprised.

Yeah definitely. Be himself said there was a lack of discipline the week going into ECU.

That wasn't the case this week.

Does that mean we'll win? Nope.

Does that mean we'll play better than ECU? That's the hope.

And that's all we can do at this point. Hope that the players got the message and play disciplined football.

Either way I think this game will be damn good.

No trick. Here's to an injury free game.

In case you win, congrats.

In case you lose, good game.

Ahh. Yeah makes sense.

Sort of reminds me of FSU fans between 2002 and 2014.

Now I see shite everywhere!

Yea that too. You didn't really see FSU stuff at all until a couple years ago.

It happens every where. I lived in Alabama during some of their bad years. Now when I go back, the Bama flags never get taken off the cars.
