Most SEC fans on here dogged Miles and LSU pretty good for hiring an OC that was just fired from his last job. That was from a team that went on to win the super bowl because Cam was sent packing.

Someone that had a terrible record as a head coach in college and the pros.

Not many had confidence he could turn Mett into a top quality SEC QB.

Why is CrimsonFever scared of Cam Cameron?

The answer is the same for both questions.

if Cam had been Alabama's OC you would've beaten Auburn

I don't know about that.
Personnel-wise, did LSU have a better or worse O-line than Alabama?
I ask this question because LSU couldn't do squat in the second half against Alabama's "garbage secondary" that was lit up by an average Oklahoma team starting a quarterback that didn't have much experience. LSU couldn't run the ball on Georgia or Alabama either.

Why don't you do a comparison between LSU's offense before and after Cam to answer your question, moron.

Bama's Oline was much better than LSU's. LSU's was average, at best, last year.

Hmmmmmmmm. Maybe, just maybe mind you, it's because Cam ended the season 3-0 (including a 34-10 destruction of the team that scored SIX TOUCHDOWNS on mighty 'Shama), and
Mighty Shama ended the season, ummm, what was it?
Oh yes....OH AND TWO !!!!!

You shouldn't even go there. Alabama's offense scored 38 versus LSU, and after 4 consecutive sacks on Mettenberger, they had enough time to put another score on the board. Your defense was a joke in November, and you probably don't even know what happened to allow A&M to resurge late in the game versus Alabama.

Are you really white knighting for Bama right now? Wow

Alabama's defense was exceptionally better than LSU's. Which means Alabama's offense had more possessions.

Alabama's offense was barely better statistically even though the defense gave them the ball way more than LSU's did for their offense.

Are rats still jumping off the sinking Alabama ship?

Scoring offense and defense include non-offensive scores. Take away the non-offensive scores and short fields, and what do you get?

The Oklahoma loss was on Nuss, Saban, and the offense. It's tough to beat an energized, respectable opponent like Oklahoma when you continuously turn the ball over. Alabama's defense made more than enough stops in the second half for Alabama's offense to win the ball game.

Hmm...first team in SEC history with a 3000 yard Quarterback, 2-1000 yard Receivers, AND...a 1000 yard RB....

I'd say that just about sums that up.

That's great. LSU had one of the best offenses in the country. Off topic, I think Georgia's would have been better if they'd remained healthy throughout the season.

I disagree. Alabama's offense struggled mightily in the second half of the Iron Bowl. Holding Auburn to 21 offensive points until very late in the 4th quarter was great. During that time spam is when Alabama should have kept their drives alive, made field goals, or changed to a more successful offensive strategy. Auburn's defense was not great by any means, but Alabama certainly made them look that way in the second half with boneheaded playcalling and poor execution.

I'm just giving an informed opinion. You're welcome to yours, but I've read the varying opinions regarding the A&M game and picked up on a few facts that the Rant sometimes doesn't acknowledge: namely that fact that Alabama's most reliable cornerback, Belue, went out with injury. May I also point to the TJ Yeldon fumble? That took 7 sure points off the board for Alabama and gave them to Texas A&M.
