Why are LSU fans still excited about Cam Cameron?

Considering the amount of offensive talent that LSU had last year they obviously underpreformed.Nuss's offense at Alabama did better than Cam's and he was replaced by Saban, yet LSU are doing everything they can to hang onto Cameron.Can someone explain why?
2013 Alabama scoring offense - ranked 17th nationally - 38.2 ppg
2013 LSU scoring offense - ranked 23rd nationally - 35.8 ppg
2013 Alabama total offense - ranked 23rd nationally - 454.1 ypg
2013 LSU total offense - ranked 25th - 453.3 ypg
2013 Alabama scoring offense - ranked 17th nationally - 38.2 ppg

How about you compare LSU's offensive stats for the few years before Cam got to LSU to the stats during his first year as OC there? Oh wait, that makes too much sense...carry on

Maybe because it was one of the best offenses in LSU history you POS. Broke a few LSU records along the way. If Mett would have played the whole season he would have had the most passing yards in a season in LSU history. Stop acting like this the first year we have had talented players on offense. Why does everything have to be about bama

I just find it odd that Alabama loses two games, has a better offense than LSU yet pretty much fired their OC.
LSU loses 3 games offense underpreforms yet they think Cameron is a great OC.
With Mett, Hill, Copeland, Landry, Beckham, LSU should've been one of the top offenses in the country imo.You guys only managed to score 17 against Ole Miss ect.
