when was the last time Florida actually traveled for an OOC game outside of Florida????
1991
yep, you lost to Syracuse....
After that, the Gators got scared and never ventured out of the swamp again for OOC games

Yeah, I'm getting that. Y'all are really scared of having to play OOC games out of state, which allowing FSU into the SEC would force UF to do.
Wild you are a sandwich and a blanket short of a picnic.
Lets give you a quick SEC history lesson...shall we? Tulane & Ga Tech were both members of the SEC until the mid 1960s....both elected to leave.
UGA, USC, UK & UF will block in mass any attempt to have the girls school, Ga Tech, Clemson or UL join the SEC. Why dillute our waters for recruiting? Years ago UF tried to sponsor the girls school for membership into the SEC and it was shot down every year. BTW the girls school is second fiddle in the state of Florida and always will be. Look at number of license plates sold with college affliations...UCF & USF compete with the girls school...UF is way ahead. Look at their pathetic facilities(of which some state tax money had to be used). Look at merchandise sold...not even close.
I wonder what Wild is scared about?? You throw the word "scared" around quite often. Are you afraid that big boys will beat you up? Did you get picked on a lot in middle school? Its ok Wild you are safe here.

I bet that every charter member would block FSU after what went down in the early 90's.

This is a good snapshot of Gator mentality, and why they don't travel anywhere for OOC games...
Last time they were bullied by Syracuse

It AIN'T the 90s, I say Florida gets some courage and we all invite FSU in....
can't be a worse decision than inviting Missouri...

Wild you have no idea about SEC fooball.
First, Missouri is in the conference because of tv revenue. When the SEC launches their own network in the next year, the SEC will get more money because people in St. Louis will purchase the SEC network and watch SEC sporting events. When the SEC started talking about bringing in new teams, I wanted Florida State, Clemson, Georgia Tech and Miami. However, none of these schools would bring in substantial tv revenue to the conference. Georgia would not let Georgia Tech in the conference and South Carolina would not let Clemson in the conference. It isnt becasue these schools are scared, it is becasue it hurts recruiting and doesn't bring in enough value to the current SEC schools. Missouri and Texas A&M bring in new markets and broadens the base of the SEC. Thus, Virgina Tech and NC State will probably be the next teams in the conference due to the exposure of new tv markets. All in all, Florida isnt scared of Florida State being in SEC. Dont post stuff on here until you understand how the SEC works. Go Gators

Not FSU in the SEC, for one.
Not LSU leaving Louisiana/the South/the Central Time Zone for another.

Ironic coming from a fan of a team too scared to leave their state to play any big boys.
It's been fun watching the Tigers win in places like the LA Coliseum and South Bend. Currently LSU is 5-5 vs Notre Dame and 1-1 vs USC.
I've also enjoyed watching LSU go 7-0 vs the PAC teams since 2000.
But I guess you enjoy going to the stadium to watch UF make money. That must feel safe. To each his own.

Let's do it, keep us from visiting sheet holes like Baton Rouge. Everybody wants to come to Florida.

I'm not talking about money, I understand that UF fans aren't afraid of making money. I'm talking about MATCHUPS - you know, what UF fans ARE afraid of.
Go ahead and hide behind your mom's purse, it'll be okay.
"But, but, but, we HAVE to stay in Florida, we'd go broke if we ventured into the Mountain time zone! "
Don't post stuff on here until you're not afraid to leave the state of Florida.

Wild, just stop trying to pick a fight with Florida
You can say Florida hasn't left the state in the past decade to play a major opponent. That's fair. However, last time I checked Florida played 6 top ten opponents last year and beat 5 of them. Florida isn't scared of any opponent except louisville, but why leave the state when you have 3 national championships in the past 17 years. Plus, you guys leave the state and play a quality non- conference opponent plus three cupcakes. We play florida state and miami this year and play two cupcakes. When we dont play Miami, we play three cupcakes just like LSU. Unfortunately, we dont have to leave the state to play the big boys. Wild, why does it make sense for Florida to leave the state and play another quality opponent? Go pick a fight with another school. You should try bama but they got too much on you guys recentely.

Yep.

Yep, 2011 says, "Hey!" (Both Oregon and WVU on the road)

Damn, you Florida boys are just as bad as LSU boys. When someone pokes you with a stick, you cry and cry.

Matchups......really.....
North Texas, Washington, and Idaho all played in Baton Rouge
Bowling Green, UL-L, and FSU (on the road) in the state of Florida
Bowling Green>Idaho, UL-L>North Texas, FSU>Washington

Wild, it isnt crying. It's just responding to the stupid comments and arguments you are making. Try again next time buddy

Specifically OOC matchups out of state.
In 2011 LSU played Oregon and WVU on the road - OUTSIDE of Louisiana.
In 2009 LSU played AT Washington - that is literally the farthest LSU can possibly travel to play a BCS team at their home stadium. (AND LSU won in Athens that year as well).
In 2005 LSU played in Tempe, AZ.
(In 2004 LSU actually went to Athens, GA and won.)
In 2003 LSU played in Tucson, AZ.
In 2002 LSU played in Blacksburg, VA.
In 1998 LSU played in South Bend.
In 1995 LSU played in College Station.
I'm looking at future schedules, and looky here, LSU is scheduled to play in Dallas this year, in Tempe in 2016, in Normon in 2018 and in Raleigh in 2020.

I'm not making arguments, it's Florida fans that are making excuses. I'm just pointing out facts. I'm sorry if you think the facts are stupid, but you have a point, the fact that Florida is scared to leave their home state for OOC games - or even some conference games - IS stupid. Florida is better than that.
Y'all should really try to push for the LSU/Florida games to all be played in Pensacola every year. If you can get Alabama on board with that, I'm sure you could pull it off.

All those years, you played one quality out of conference game just like we play Florida State. The rest are cupcakes Nice try with 2004, everyone in the SEC has to play quality conference road games most years.Just depends on the rotation each year. For LSU the rest of the out of conference games were cupcakes just like Florida. As for crying, you are one crying about florida being scared about florida state and the fact that Florida never leaves the state. Just defending the aquastations you made against the Florid program. I dont care if we leave the state or dont leave the state for out of conference games. As long as Florida can win 10 games a year, dont care who is in the conference or who we play out of conference

You keep changing your argument like a woman changes her mind. Clearly just a troll, because none of your arguments matter.
Here is what matters:
Florida > LSU
Stack it up anyway you want to jr.
