There are just so many question marks with LSU this season. In the West, A&M is the only team with more, IMO.

i don't think it's fair to assume anything, especially this year, where there is probably more parity than ever before in the west. It's fair to predict LSU could possibly finish that low, but it's pretty ignorant to assume that is what will happen.

I agree with you that our offense may not be great, but neither were they from 2008-2012. I also think many people in here think inexperience automatically means bad. The freshman we have coming into our offense are the best LSU has ever had on offense, hands down. They may struggle, especially early in the year, but the schedule sets up well for them to gain experience early in the year against very beatable teams. They also may thrive as many young guys have in the recent past.

Simmer on the offense being so bad. LSU has studs at wideout, and are loaded at RB. The OL is one of the more experienced in the SEC, if not the country. Only question mark is QB, and I'm confident the OL gives either guy a shot at being successful.

LSU/Bama game is a slugfest every year. Both teams/fans/coaches respect each other and understand that this game will be brutal for years to come. IMO - it's mutual hate/respect.

I'm sure the same thing was said every single year this site has existed.

I'm guessing LSU is gonna go 8-5 and whip an overmatched Georgia Tech team in the Peach Bowl again.

Trey Quinn is tiny. Dupre is slow. Fournette looks like he is 30. Harris is too short.

LSU is an 8/9 win a year team. Historically. They're coming out of a pretty impressive run, but LSU fans are doing themselves and the school a disservice by acting like 9-3 isn't going to be a solid year for LSU, and for this team especially.

Bama has the weakest schedule in the sec. Only a lsu n au are the only two top 15 teams they play.

AU plays 3 teams ranked higher than LSU and 2 of them are on the road.

Durrr...

Are you even reading this thread. See response below from one of your own fans.

Why is it so hard for LSU fans to understand that we lost a 3K yard passer, a 1K yard rusher, and 2 1K yard receivers? All of these are being replaced with talent, but you can't help but to see the question marks.
We've yet to identify a starting QB. Of all our potential starting QBs, they accumulate a grand total of 1 start in CFB. That 1 start wasn't the best performance in the world either

I don't think it's impossible it will happen, just ignorant to expect it to happen. The only time LSU has had a losing SEC record since 2000, LSU still finished 3rd in the west (2008 the went 3-5 in the SEC). I just think it's silly to assume anything basically.

how does that response justify 3rd-4th in the west?

AU wasn't a top 15 team at this time last year. What good did that preseason schedule ranking do?
