But if it turned out to be even close to true I wouldn't be surprised. What the team has been able to accomplish in recent years is amazing. Almost too good to be true. I'll be sad to see the good times gone. But at least I got to be here for it. Being born in the mid 80's I only caught a couple happy moments for Bama football.

That's mainly what I was referring to. NTY was like how dare anyone ever question our pristine virtuous football program. Nevermind the fact that the questioning was coming from actual tapes and from players making allegations.

Do you not understand the hypocrisy of this claim? Our rivals, and especially Alabama fans, OBSESSED over AU's title for over a year. I'm sorry, but no Auburn message board that I know of has had a forum dedicated solely to Alabama scandals for that long of a time. For Alabama fans of all people to call anyone else a conspiracy theorist... I don't even know what to say

Mostly because Auburn is winning. Half of them are whining because Auburn beat them and the other half are upset because Auburn is getting complimented on their success. Its the way it works on here.

Auburn boards don't need a huge thread dedicated to Alabama scandals. Your boards have at least a dozen threads at any given time on how supposed Alabama cheating. You guys are the worlds worst when it comes to accusing others of cheating yet you act indignant when anyone dares to give you a dose of your own medicine.

It's human nature to hate on competition that is much better than anticipated. Especially when they beat you or in some cases lose to you but yet end up doing much better than you.
As a Bama fan I want to be hated that means we are good. Now if you're hated when you suck and not just felt sorry for, the question should be asked.
I didn't hate auburn the last 2 yrs I felt sorry for those goofs but now I hate'em, frick em!

Only thing I hate about Auburn is the dirty play. I would include the dirty recruiting tactics but some of it may just be rumor.
