Jefferson and it's not even close....

Your opinion doesn't bother me. The fact that you don't know what you're talking about does. Have you even realized that Marshall did drive Auburn 80 yards down the field w/ less than two minutes to win a game yet?

Not his fault. The field turf wasn't properly maintained.

Jefferson..not only a shitty QB, but a thug piece of shite as well.

That shitty qb destroyed arkys best team ever.

That probably saved his life then.

At first I was going to ignore this thread as an obvious troll, but I thought for a second and decided it's not as stupid a question as it might be. If you're asking who was worse in the BCSNCG, yes, Jordan by a country mile. But if you're asking which BCSNCG-losing quarterback was generally a worse (or, for those of us not trolling, "better") quarterback, it's actually an interesting question. People, even some LSU people, tend to forget that JJ actually did pretty decently over the course of the season. His temporary fall from grace obviously shortened his resume, but he managed to help LSU beat Bama in the November game, and, while his resume as a pocket passer wasn't all that great, his overall performance working with Lee helped give LSU a pair of strong seasons in 2010 and 2011. He's no wunderkind, obviously, but I think the perception of his career is unjustly shaded by his terrible BCSNCG (and, to a lesser extent, his mediocre SECCG) performances.

Jefferson is fricking garbage

This can't be a serious question.

I just don't think it's that easy. Playin a read option every play isn't a true qb to me. If auburn had to run a hurry up passing offense to win a game it would never work because he can't go to a 2nd or 3rd read. Not last year atleast.
He has this season to prove me wrong. Lol at the heisman hype. Dude won't sniff New York.
MSU vs Auburn 2013 called and asked for you to watch the game.

Being serious, NM wasn't asked to do what Jefferson was asked to do. In the end they both suck and were the reason both teams lost the NC games. Marshall may be a little better but let's face it there weren't too many times I saw him go to a second or third read. Jefferson did this more.
Once more they both suck
This is Benny Hill level slapstick.

Which one was on a Heisman watch list?

no but the more I thought about it nobody could achieve the shittiness of JJ
But I was in Nola for the 1/9 and LSU was running a lot of deep patterns and receivers were open, the pass blocking was horrible though.
Auburn runs a read option 80% of the time. Like I said earlier they were asked to do different things.
You're Jordan Jefferson aren't you? Welcome to the Rant.

NM.......process of elimination. Even Brazilian soccer fans know JJ couldn't sniff the trophy if one was placed on his face.

Jefferson:
24 Wins
8 Losses
398 completions 678 Attempts (58.6%)
34 TDs 20 INTs
359 rushing attempts for 1018 yds (2.8 Avg)
Marshall:
12 wins 2 Losses
142 completions 239 attempts (59.4%)
14 TD 6 INT
172 rushing attempts for 1068 yards (6.2 AVG) 12 TDs
Pick one. Marshall has superior passing numbers and blows Jefferson out of the water in the rushing category. It's not hard.
