You guys aren't even in the ballgame with your selections... there are 2 coaches on an unnamed staff who I've been cursed at by excessively and threatened with physical violence on a time or 2. I should add while i was a minor and several times over a 5 year period. I've witnessed them call teenage girls fat on several occasions also.
I harbor no ill will 15 years later, hence no names, but they classless as frick.

"Tommy Tuberville was in such a rush to leave Texas Tech that he didn't even have time to finish his dinner.

Junior college offensive lineman Devonte Danzey, who was in Lubbock for an official visit last weekend, told the recruiting site Wreckem247.com that Tuberville stepped away from a dinner with several recruits and assistant coaches Friday night and never returned. Saturday morning, Tuberville surprised many by accepting an offer to become Cincinnati's coach."

Naw. you're wrong.

I like the part that's left out of the story, that tubs never stayed for those dinners.

But dont let the butthurt blind you

This, followed by Petrino, Orgeron, and Jackie Sherrill, in some order.

Dooley was much more classless than Kiffin. Have never heard anyone who worked in the program say a nice thing about Dooley.

Treated everyone like absolute shite.

Say what you want about Dez Bryant, but it was sort of karmic justice to Derek Dooley stand there helplessly while Dez ranted at him last season during his sideline tirade.

"Texas Tech coach Tommy Tuberville may have been upset, but the displaced hat and headset of his assistant is probably far less worse than what Tuberville will face after a display of — ahem — emotion on Saturday against Kansas.

Tuberville was not pleased after his team got caught with 12 men on the field during a pivotal 4th-and-2, and he let graduate assistant Kevin Oliver know it, slapping the assistant’s hat and headset off as he berated him.

The verbal lashing continued as Oliver reached over to pick up his displaced hardware and put it back on. Tuberville will likely be hearing about the move from the NCAA, Big 12 or school’s disciplinarians — or anyone concerned with basic decency."

...and what does this have to do with Alabama?

And a coach who stepped over a man who was unresponsive and in convulsions, but whatever.

Im not saying this to troll, but the answer is Bear Bryant. Class has nothing to do with the actual coaching, it has to deal with everything else. He was a notorious cheater in both football and marriage, a horrible drunk, and an overall a-hole. Still the greatest to ever coach though

"Pebblebrook High School defensive back Demetrius Monday de-committed from Cincinnati on Thursday after never hearing from new coach Tommy Tuberville.

“I think it’s messed up,” his father, Bryant Monday, told the AJC. “You wait until a few weeks before signing day to say something? They could have told us a month ago.

“Now we’re left with less than a month until signing day to figure something out. He had other scholarship offers but he hasn’t talked to those coaches in six months … since he committed to Cincinnati on July 25.

“It’s really disappointing.”

The 5-foot-10, 180-pound Monday said he committed to Cincinnati over Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Ball State, Ohio and Georgia State, among others, last summer. Tuberville was hired by Cincinnati on Dec. 8. After not hearing from the new staff, the elder Monday finally called up the football offices this week.

“They told us to ‘look other places,’” Monday said. “I’m in Los Angeles on vacation, and I just got the bad news.

“The thing is, we’ve talked to some other kids committed to Cincinnati. They say the same thing, that they haven’t heard from the staff. Basically (Tuberville) isn’t calling anybody, he’s trying to get the kids to de-commit on their own.

“It’s a bad situation"

Agree, I think this is understood by most. Great football coach, terrible human being.

This is a common misconception due to his scraggly deep voice. His voice was scary and intimidated people but didn't indicate that was he was mad at you.

You really just keep digging your grave deeper. Dont you have a coach, who is currently coaching, who pulled a few scholly offers from recruits last minute? Recruits who had been committed for quite some time?

No. if you're referring to gray shirt offers to kids who were hurt during high school, they're not even close to the same.
By the way, I was fortunate to have occasionally been around Coach Bryant and your comment is correct. He was a tough man, but helped a lot of people.
