I get more enjoyment watching Auburn fans 180 so hard on him they could snap their necks, then I do Johnson's poor play.

I've shite on JJ's performance tons, but I'm not going to revel in the fact that his downfall is officially complete. JJ has no swag, hasn't sought any attention or engaged in any attention-seeking behavior.
It's an interesting and newsworthy scenario, but not one I'd get off on as a rival fan.

I know there have been plenty since then, but back when the flagship wasn't much more than a canoe, Mitch Mustain sure did get a lot of hype on tigerdroppings. Still he wasn't remotely as bad as Johnson.

We LSU fans thought Shepard was going to be the LSU qb savior, but he at least turned out to be a good receiver.

i do kinda feel bad for him tho. i mean it can't be easy to have that much spotlight and just fall so hard.

Maybe. Most of us aren't the types that thrive in the biggest settings. While he obviously may be lacking some fortitude if he can't live up to his own potential, I don't think that is something I'm going to throw stones on when he's otherwise a very high-character individual.

Oh, I agree, I just know that when they had voluntary workouts and what not he all too often chose to skip them. I just wonder how much it would have helped him.
And the media for pumping him up when he had played in just a handful of games.
