Bama's scheme is so QB friendly, they could win with a 3rd string QB.

One thing that separates experienced and unexperienced QB's is the pre-snap reads that they make. A QB that cannot make those reads will not be very successful.

Tough choice. Bama has no experienced backup - it would probably mean 2 losses. If Manziel is gone, it may mean more to A&M.

Exactly how does one put up good numbers barely doing anything?
I was specifically talking about the National Championship game itself. He didn't do anything noteworthy except hand the ball off.

Hard to replace a guy who completed nearly 70% of his passes and threw 30 TD's compared to 3 INT's. He broke Peyton Manning's TD to INT ratio record.

That being said I think A&M gets hurt worse. Alabama's talent at the skill positions this year is ridiculous, whoever stepped in would succeed. There would be an obvious drop-off but nearly as much as it would be at A&M.

A&M isn't exactly lacking in skill position or OL talent either.

But yes, due to Maziels skill set, his loss would be worse.

JFF, because he's so good that if JFF were an Olympic athlete, the Olympics would be canceled. Every four years they would just mail JFF his 237 gold medals.

JFF, without McCarron Bama is still the best team in the SEC this year.

Manziel. But I think some of you underestimate AJs importance to Alabama. Say he was seriously injured against Mizzou last year (when he tweaked his knee), there is no way Blake Sims leads Alabama to the BCS title. Alabama loses to LSU along with A&M and is 10-2 headed to the Chik-fil-a Bowl.

Psh, Sims/Yeldon/Lacy Triple Option all day.

Going against the grain here with my take on the question but one of those two is going after national title number three.

You've bumped your head again, AJ is going to be a high NFL draft pick, you watch.
