Vandy or Kentucky right now are playing the best ball.

LSU's coach was already canned and momentum already destroyed from the Bama-LSU game. And the record will show that LSU wasn't the second best team in the division. Now you're just talking out of your arse.

The safe money is on Florida. With Franks at the helm, their offense should be a little bit better, and their defense is usually good. Plus, I'm not sold on Georgia's Eason, and Tennessee's QB situation is up in the air.

yeah, they were so deflated that each remaining win was by at least 3 scores, including the bowl game.

But props for coming up with another excuse on the fly.

Spoken like a true UGA fan. No hope in his team what so ever

We're 20-6 against Tech in the past 3 decades. You're not even our little brother anymore, just some nerd we beat the hell out of. Enjoy 2016's win we are going to give you atomic wedgies and swirlies til all your bow ties are ruined, what a nerd.

The Auburn Bama games have been relatively close the last three years as well..

Ok this right here is definitive proof that you are blind. Losing by an average of 15 points the past 3 years is not 'relatively close' no matter how many yards or how close the game was in the 4th quarter... you guys are losing by an average of 2 TDs to your biggest rival, that is not relatively close. UGA certainly hasn't lived up to my expectations but thank god I don't have to deceive myself into believeing a false reality.

Your point proves nothing. A 15 point win over TAM( a team that always tumbles late)
and wins over shitty Arkansas, and overrated Louisville is everything but inspiring.

My god I knew Auburn's fans obsession with Bama was bad but I didn't know it had taken on this level of depravity. Moral victories over 15 point losses are now accepted as close games. Saban has literally made you guys bite the pillow so hard your fan base has resulted to altering the definition of words and hanging your hats on losses of 15 points or less. The little brother syndrome is strong with this one.

Close, 21 out of 25 years.

My point was that LSU was a good team last year. Their W/L record won't say it, but they were probably the best looking team in the conference outside of Alabama.

I'm not sure what point it is you're trying to make. You've been an apologist for the SEC West being average at best last season.

I hate to say it, but the entire conference isn't what it used to be. I'm just calling it like it is.

You said only LSU has kept it close. There is nothing wrong with saying Auburn has kept it relatively close. Auburn has.

With that said, keep melting, bitch.

5-15 against your two biggest rivals in the past decade. That's relatively close right?

Do you want to move the goalposts any more? Whatever the case, Auburn has had just as much success at beating Bama than any other SEC team- even if it's still not much at all.

You're not very good at this.

And you're trying to say that the teams after Bama "are just as mediocre and complacent as the east." The ESPN football power rankings say otherwise. The number of SEC western teams that have won an SEC championship since an eastern team has won one says otherwise as well. Not to mention that the SECw usually has at least three teams inside the top ten recruiting classes while the east only has Georgia.

The west had a down year last year and nobody is denying that. It's pretty easy to see why we had a down year though

The LSU Bama game is almost always decided by one possession. Bama's average victory margin against LSU since Saban is 8 points. The average margin victory against Auburn is 20 points. He's beaten Auburn by 28 points or more FOUR times. He hasn't beaten LSU by that margin ONCE.

LSU is the only team since 08 with comparable talent to Alabama. No other team in the confernce comes close. So, yes, with that being said, the entire confernce is weak as baby shite lately and the West has nothing to brag about outside of Bama.

At the very least, I guess that the west can at least brag that they're not the east
Auburn has beaten Alabama just as many times as LSU since 2010 and a heck of a lot more times than any eastern team.

Has an eastern team beaten a Saban led Bama team post Tebow's crying or Garcia's heroics? Nah...
