We obviously think backing into something means different things. When a team beats everyone in their division they didn't back into the division title . Now if they only won the division because another team in the division who beat them lost both games to west teams then that would be backing in.

I think winning the East has been a dream crusher and hopeless accomplishment in this decade of football.

Regardless if UT had gone the last 2 years or UGA in 2014, they all still would've lost in the SECCG so it doesn't really make a difference.

And UT lost out on the East because of Muschamp and Vandy, not losing to Alabama. A&M and LSU cancel each other out.

Does it really matter? The winner of the east will lose to the winner of the west yet again.

Seriously? Y'all are 0-3 in Atlanta and lose by an average of over 23 points.

One of those is not like the other two and, no, it will be between three but not those three.

It's not a riddle.

Ah. Vandy, Kentucky and Mizzou. You are wise, master.

You mean like it's been for 22 of the 25 years the division has existed?

I marvel at your crystal ball

Yes the winner of the East probably will lose to Alabama, just like all of the other teams in the West will have.

Once again Alabama is a great team, the other six teams in the west are just as average as the teams in the east.

Just facts!

Didn't Arkansas stomp a mud hole through Florida last year? Auburn beat them by 53.

The west is clearly more talented than the east top to bottom. Georgia recruits well as they always have but the rest of the east is just not that talented.
USCe, Mizzou, Vandy, and Kentucky are nowhere near the talent level of Bama, Auburn, LSU or A&M. As such, more often than not, the west teams are usually favored to win over their eastern counterparts.
Other than when Auburn outlasted Mizzou in 2013 and gained over 600 rushing yards, the SEC east is struggling to even put a team on the field that can even hang with the western division champs.

Bama is the only great team in the West. LSU is beginning to get back there now that Miles is gone. Everyone else in that division is as mediocre and complacent as the East.

Lsu could be a power, depends on their chemistry.

Fixed it for you.

the sec east is struggling to put a team on the field that can compete with Alabama, just like the other teams in the west

Also Fixed.

And Arkansas beat UF, who beat UGA, who beat AUBURN ( and has 9 of 11) and lost to Vandy.

Face it, LSU and Auburn and whoever else can read the pre season all they want, but just because the media wants to promote Bamas division doesn't make the division really good. You are not, you just aren't.

LSU has lost 6 straight to Bama.
Auburn has lost 3 straight and 7 of the last 10, to Bama. By the way AU has also lost 3 straight to the Dawgs and 8 of the last 10.

Once again Bama is the Gold standard, everyone else in the west is just average sometimes good.
