I'll take Cam, I can't see Dak being this succesful without that oline.

Dak, Cam is too busy trying to be a fashionista.

You've shat all over Dak for the past few months on the MSB threads.
Please provide links and quotes.

Dak has struggled against pressure when other teams have managed to get it. He's looked like a complete rookie in a lot of games this season.
He is a rookie and Cam just finished his 6th season. I would take Dak all day long based on age and potential. Cam isn't going to get better as a QB. He is what he is. He might have better seasons than this season based on what pieces are put around him, but Cam is what he is and that is a player who handles adversity poorly and has proven time after time that he is a me guy and not a team guy.

All I know is you've made yourself look like a fool so far with your opinion of Dak before the season, why stop now?
This one is the best.

As a Cowboys fan, this feels like a wasted pick.
quote:
Dak will be nothing more than a backup project that gets abandoned when his rookie contract runs out because no team wants to waste even the veteran minimum on a guy they know has no future.
This one is the best.

If Romo is hurt, Dak Prescott isn't going to save the season. It was a wasted pick.
quote:
If Romo goes down in the next two seasons, Dak Prescott isn't going to win a Super Bowl. The Cowboys are going to ride or die with Romo, and the defense needed the most help. A veteran QB as a stop gap like what the Colts had with Hasselbeck last year would have been a better way to go. The 4th round of the draft is where you get a nickel and dime DB or a RB. There is proven production in the 4th in roles like that EVERY SINGLE YEAR. Not a QB that's not going to see the field.
quote:
Dak doesn't fit in to the Cowboys system at all, and name any back up QB the Cowboys coaches have developed in the past 5 years. All the backups have sucked. The "calculated risk" concept is completely misapplied. They don't have a QB, proven backups are expensive, and getting a guy on his rookie deal is the most cost effective way to get a guy to do spot duty, which is why they draft them. It was 100% a wasted pick because there is no value there.

Dak is doing what he's doing because Dallas has the best Oline in football
While Cam has done what he has so far despite his OL which is annually one of the leagues worst.
That's part of the reason hes had such a bad year this year. Not only the injuries piling up, but 6 years of running for your life takes a mental toll as well. That's why he said this off-season he wants to find his love of the game again.
Can yall imagine Cam when he's been 100% with that Cowboys OL, Dez Bryant, and Zeke?

If I'm building, I'd probably go Dak. If I need QB now, I'd go Cam.

Dak. Cam is a pussy who won't go after a fumble.

Neither. Dual threat QBs never last in the NFL

Damn. Sounds personal with this one.

If cam had that Dallas o line. Good lord. Y'all fricks are the dumbest somebitches ever. Cam was in the title game last year. Dak has the best team in the league surrounding him and hasn't done anything.

That same team Dak has, went 4-12 year ago.

Dak seems like a guy to go to war with. Cam is a great player, but seems more self-absorbed. Who would you more likely follow?

Dak is a poor man's Cam Newton.

Dak!
Humble team first guy who had Mississippi State #1 and in the NC hunt for half a season.
Enough said

Hasn't done anything? I guess winning the most games as a rookie and arguably having the greatest statistical season of any rookie qb in NFL history isn't much....
Whose the dumb sumbitch again?
Whose the dumb sumbitch again?

Lets see? Should I go with a high character man or should I choose a whiny, thieving child?
No contest. Dak > Scam
No contest. Dak > Scam

Dak will steadily improve. Every year. The mistakes he makes, he will learn from and just get better. Cam has clearly not improved. He's a good QB but he is where he will always be. He may be better than Dak right now. Just on an inferior team. But everyone looked at the two teams preseason and everyone picked Carolina to be better than Dallas. Now all of a sudden, Dallas could win with any QB cuz they are so dominant?
Cam has never improved. If he hasn't taken it upon himself to see his flaws and correct them, he will never be great. Dak will look at every mistake and flaw. He will seek out instruction to fix them. He will then work tirelessly to improve.
Which of these two QBs would you want on your team?
