The fact that people even want to ask the question speaks volumes. Cam has been in the NFL for a while and has been to a super bowl.

The fact that Dak, a rookie, can even be compared to him speaks of his quality.

Dak fell in to the absolute perfect situation for a rookie QB. He couldn't have been luckier, and he's still had some rookie moments. As a Cowboys fan, I'm not so sure they shouldn't have gone back to Romo a month ago. Cam has had one of the best seasons any NFL QB has ever had. Dak has not shown he's capable of that, IMO.

That's my point. You are comparing A ROOKIE to a QB veteran who in your own words has had "one of the best season's any QB has ever had." Doesn't that answer the question for you?

Easily Dak. I'd take almost any QB over Cam. His lack of humility makes him useless to me.

The only reason this is even a question is because one is playing behind the best line in football and one is playing behind one of the worst.

When Cam's O-line has been good, he still hasnt completed 60% of his passes except for a single rookie year in which he barely did it. Cam just isn't a good QB.

ETA he also did it in 2013 but 61% is nothing to write home about considering Dak was making a run at Brees's completion record for a while.

Cam. Anyone who would take Dak over Cam needs their head examined

Good thing there's more to playing QB than completion %.

Yup. Like having timing and pocket presence. Which Cam also doesn't have.

There's also accuracy, which Cam mostly doesn't have.

Field awareness, and understanding the situation, which Cam has proven he also doesn't have.

He's a lethal athlete who can throw a little bit. That's it.

I guess the Panthers are lucky such a shitty QB took them to a Super Bowl and near undefeated regular season last year then and managed to win MVP.

When the stars align and you have to beat a weak NFC that year, sure. They indeed got lucky. This year proved it was a fluke.

Typical rant overreaction. Both will keep playing. Time will tell.

I'm not overreacting when my opinion is based on SIX YEARS of evidence.

On Dak, sure. Time will prove his value or not.

Um yeah you are. Cam isn't the GOAT, but he's not below average either. Below average QBs don't have a year like Cam did last year.

I'm personally not doing that, and I don't think people should. The only reason people are doing it because they are both young, and Dak is leading America's Team. I don't think Dak has shown me enough to have the label of "franchise QB" yet, and Cam clearly has.

He's not a below average PLAYER, but he is a below average QB. His enormous talent makes up for his mental weakness to make him decent.

His stats more or less show exactly this.

Dak.

Cam is a whiny bitch when he's not buffooning after a TD or 1st Down.
