This year's race is really MEHHH
I think Amari Cooper is clearly one of, if not the best player, however given that WR's are basically a non-factor in the Heisman
I'd say Gordon from Wisconsin is my pick. Marcus Mariota is also ok, as without him Oregon is awful, and with him they're really good.

Wisconsin lost to a bad LSU team. No way I'd vote for Gordon.

Who is better?
Mariota is a better overall player

There are more but no way is he "The best player in College Football". He is probably not even the best player on his team. Just has the best stats right now.
But its only opinion because there are no clean cut "Best" players this year. The trophy is still up for grabs...

Melvin Gordon.
He is the most talented and best player in the land.

Cooper would be as big a star in any offense in any conference. Not the same for those guys

Dak shouldn't be invited ... Leading a league in interceptions.. He only looks good because of a system and the quality of senior around him.
Can't spell Wallace without 2 "L's"

Just think about it for a second.
Every single one of those guys is a system player, and you can name several great players at the same position in the same system previously.
Amari is a unique talent

I'd vote Melvin Gordon. He's been the most impressive to me.
Hasn't Mariota finished 2nd twice already.Let's make it 3.

If that is true, where has he been up till this year? He is having a big year but that does not make him the "Best" player out there.

Yeah, I did and why I laughed and knew you thought they were only system players. I disagree with you on that, a lot.
Amari would do well on a team that throws to him, and he is a fantastic talent and not disputing that.. However, the others are great talents and would succeed at any other school as well. They are all top talents.

He is a good player and having a great year but as far as true receivers, the kid at West Virginia is a better receiver overall.
