Neither did Ted Williams asshat...but he's not "great"
either,correct?

Greg Kite has a few rings...better than Barkley correct?

No need to call names.
To compare Ted Williams baseball career to Barkley's NBA career is ridiculous.

Once again, championships is your yardstick...just using your logic.Wilt had one.So take away that and he's not
"great"?

Kurt Rambus has a few rings...great or not great?

Stupid to even argue the point.

No but Bogut would be on the Aussie Mt Rushmore with a hot young Nicole Kidman, Naomi Watts and a can of Foster's.

I bet he considers Robert Horry to be a better pro PF than Barkley

Pathetic that you Auburn fans devolve into a debate over professional baseball and basketball careers instead of being able to have a rational discussion about your own program's history. That isn't at al surprising. Whatever. OK. Barkley had a great pro career. He's famous. I get it. But what he did while at Auburn isn't as great as others.

I'd also put Chuck Person on there above Lorino.

-SEC Player of the year
-All-SEC all 3 years
-2nd team All-American
-SEC player of the decade
-Still holds the Auburn record for career shooting percentage

Yeah, totally sucked at Auburn. Not his fault the program the last decade or two before him. Barkley gave Sonny Smith enough credibility and the program enough attention to make it possible to go on the run it did in the 80's
