Stevie lost his biggest college game in his Heisman winning season to GEORGIA , they would have won Florida's 1st. SEC championship.

Meh, I've had this screen name since I was like 13. Shared it with a UT friend when we had a joint ESPN account (I know....GAYYY). But we chose it because it was a common rival and all that jazz. Just kinda stuck and I've used it for a lot of stuff. More sentimental than anything. Fwiw, I would put 2 teams above the gators in terms of dislike at the moment for a variety of reasons.

Georgia will win by 2 TDs because Gurley will make Clowney his bitch.

Let's pull up his stats versus an inferior Clemson defense.
12 carries - 154 yards and 2 touchdowns. Half of that was from the 75 yard touchdown run.
In reality, he was nicked but 11 carries for 79 yards and a touchdown is a more accurate indicator of his success versus Clemson. That averages out to about 7 yards per carry which is good; however, if you watch the game, then you'll notice that Georgia's running game wasn't very effective until the 4th quarter, and they still lost.

Georgia had a much more talented defense last season that did not show up. There's no way to tell if the rushing defense has improved, but the secondary definitely took a step back. Remember that South Carolina passed for 16.2 yard per attempt last season versus a better secondary. This game should be exciting.

SC. UGA can't win the big games.

Georgia is South Carolina's big game.
Other than Georgia, what SEC Championship contenders has South Carolina beaten recently?
2012: lost to LSU, Florida
2011: lost to Arkansas (Auburn wasn't a contender, but they beat South Carolina)
2010: lost to Auburn, Arkansas, 56-17

Despite the loss, UGA performed the best last Saturday compared to all other SEC teams. Their offense showed flash of greatness and Gurley is the best RB in the country. The game should've went to OT if it wasn't for that botched snap. 545 total yards for UGA.

Did you watch the game? Georgia didn't win the battle at the LOS on either side of the ball. Take away Gurley's 75 yard touchdown run, and he's only got 11 attempts for 79 yards and a touchdown. Mind you that Clemson was a little worn down in the 4th quarter.

Additionally, if Georgia had made the field goal, then I doubt Clemson goes into "prevent a win defense" at the end of the game. 545 yards is greater than Clemson's production but Clemson's receiver Bryant had several drops where he can only blame himself. Boyd played better than Aaron Murray. Clemson didn't always stick with what worked and that allowed Georgia to gain a good chunk of their yards through the air.

Whether Bill Stanfill wrecked spurrier's day way back then or not, I'm pretty sure that the combination of goff and donnan would have still lost to spurrier as often as they did.

Do you know what "reality" means? It means real life, stuff that happened. He didn't have 11 carries for 79 yards, he had 12 carries for 154 yards. That is the most accurate indicator of his success against clemson, because, ya know..it actually happened.

Man we lost a couple big games too, no doubt, but we won more.

2010 : Beat #1 Bama 35-21, Beat #22 UGA, Beat #23 UF
2011 Beat #16 UGA, Beat #17 Clemson, Beat #20 Nebraska
2012 Beat #5 UGA, Beat #11 Clemson, Beat #18 Michigan.

I'm going with SC on this one. I think last week's loss to Clemson was emotional and exhausting. SC looked good on both sides of the ball against NC and with that game being played Thurs. have had a couple of extra days to prepare.
With the game being played in Athens, it stays close but in the end, SC's defense is too much for Murray and UGA.

I went with Georgia only because I think they need the win after the loss to Clemson

If USC wins the game this could be the end if the GA season and Coach Richt era in Athens

Oh, sweet Jesus, are we penalizing running backs for breaking long runs again like a fricking moron? Seriously, people don't be fricking stupid. You play a guy like Gurley precisely because he can strike for a touchdown from anywhere.
