Are any of these staff members worth promoting?

Brittany. And none of their fans will even know because they don't care about basketball.

Kermit Davis, Rick Stansbury, or Steve Prohm

Those are my best, realistic, guesses.

When I lived in North La. for many years, we picked up Ch.10 TV, Eldorado, Ark. and Nolan Richardson's Arkansas team was always on TV and I was impressed. Always pressure defense, fast breaks, and uptempo offense--great basketball. He would be a big improvement over JJ. They used to replay Arkansas football and basketball games at 10:30 at night. I knew I would see them against LSU every time.

Nolan's teams were exciting to watch but that style of basketball is gone with the elimination of hand-checking.

Now teams are punished for playing defense and type games are nothing but free throw competitions.

Why would Stans leave Western for LSU? He has a better set up in Bowling Green then he would in Baton Rouge.

They were one of the most exciting teams I ever watched during their best years when he was there. It really was 40 minutes of Hell. LSU and Arkansas had some epic battles and they always came out on top.

He allegedly wants the job. Louisiana has stupid talent these next few years, so he'd just need to lock down the state with a couple OOS guys.

Stans isn't first on my list, but I'm okay with him getting the job if enough guys turned it down.

He is pulling talent to Western. Has a 5 star center coming in next year with 2 other 4 stars.

In my mind, I'm already there.
