Alabama's OL has looked horrid at times this year. The "best" OL in that team is statistically the worst lineman on the team.

If that's the team that shows up to play against LSU, Alabama will get steamrolled.

There's just this.

and this

ESPN's Mel Kiper ranks LSU redshirt junior T Jerald Hawkins as the No. 20 overall prospect on his Big Board.

better WR's.
There is no data to support this whatsoever.

LSU certainly has better WRs baw. You just posted something about watching football.

Our WRs have always had talent but looked shaky earlier this year. Now they are starting to gel. Dural could sneak into first round this year if he continues to perform. Malachi will do the same.

Derrick Henry faces the weaker defense,

I mean you are splitting hairs here. Alabama is ranked 4th in the nation at 78 yards per game, and LSU is ranked 7th in the nation, giving up 93 yards per game. In addition, Alabama has played Wisconsin (very weak rushing this year), Ole Miss, and Texas A&M, so those three teams have no rushing offense at all and helped to partially skew the numbers. Bama is very good against the run though...as is LSU.

You're certainly entitled to your opinion, no matter how off-base it is. Bama has 6 receivers with double-digit catches. 4 with multiple TDs. LSU has 2 and 2. Bama's corp is deeper and makes more of an impact than LSU's. Your 3rd receiver has 4 catches.

They are vulnerable to the edges, their LB's & DL is great up the gut but slow to the sideline.
I think our DL & LB's are definitely strong enough to outclass their OL.
LF 25-30 carries 150-170 yards
DH 20-25 carries 90-110 yards

except that Dural is projected as a 2nd round draft pick, and Dupre was the #1 player out of high school, is 6-5 and very athletic, and is projected a first round draft pick. In addition, they have a tf five star wr that is playing more and more, and caught a very long TD pass last night...great size and speed on him as well.

Just because LSu didn't throw the ball a lot early in the year (still don't throw it a lot) doesn't mean they don't have highly talented WR's. People get caught up on total yards to much...but it's a little easier for wr's of other teams to rack up more yards when their team throws it twice as many times as LSU....doesn't mean they are better or will be drafted higher.

Fournette goes for 125 on 25 carries and scores one TD.

Henry goes for 112 on 27 carries and scores 2 TDs.

Alabama wins 24-21

and there it is. when I read things like this...I automatically think of someone that ain't the brightest bulb in the fixture....that or you are either trolling. When you starting comparing total catches for a wr where his team throws it significantly more...well....that's like comparing apples and oranges....what about yards per catch? What about measurable? What about draft prospects? Dupre is more talented than anyone on your staff....Dural is proven and can and will beat you deep. Johnson was one of the highest rated wr's in the nation this year out of high school.....I suspect though that LSU has a secret weapon that will do damage to you at wr this year. But hey...forgive us...we know better than to say LSU has ANYTHING better than bama....even if all the analysts are saying that bama has no wr that will scare you this year.

Awesome. Hasn't done shite. Ridley, however, has done more than any of your receivers as a true fresh. Bama's receiver corp is better than LSU's, and it's not really that close. Bama has a guy who has been out for the season for weeks with more catches than your 3,4,5 receivers combined.

Has nothing to do with what was posted. Lsu fan post Bama was held to 2.8ydspr and I posted what Henry had. Take out the sacks and look at actual rushing play yardage and it is a lot better than what the Lsu fan implied.

Are sacks not part of the game? As a Bama fan, I would think you'd be happy Coker has learned to take a sack seeing as how he has an 11/7 TD to INT ratio. Even if you take out Coker's sacks, Bama only rushed for 143 yards on 35 carries, so it's not that much of a difference.

LSU's receivers haven't needed to do anything. We rush the ball for 309 yards a game which is 121 yards more than the Tide.

Bama averages 77 yards more passing a game, but is less efficient in yards per attempt 7.1 attempts compared to LSU which is 8.5 yards per pass.

Statistically speaking, LSU's offense is more efficient running and passing the ball.
