Feel free to consider incoming freshmen that may contribute.
If we are playing this game, then UGA has 5 star Lamont Gaillard coming in at defensive tackle.
Throw in Lorenzo Carter, if he's good enough to earn a starting spot, he could be a hell of an edge rusher.

If Ivory plays a significant amount of snaps then it won't be Alabama. But, the talent all across the line should be improved greatly.

I'll be surprised if he leaves the NFL (yes, I know he is unemployed). If UGA does get him, it'll be a great hire. I imagine your defense would have some more 4 linemen formations than it's had in previous years.

Rocker is a home run hire if you guys get him. I don't care if he doesn't like to kiss arse and play the recruiting game. He will get the best out of whoever he coaches and his reputation will get the recruits that you want anyway. Meaning those that don't need their ego stroked, and want a coach who will get the best out of them whether they like it or not.

AU has 8 returning DLs with game experience. They were the strength of the Defense last year.

We should have the best 4-3 two deep. I think that is pretty safe bet. We rotate a lot, have depth, good pass rushers and good DTs against the run.

The defensive staff Ritch is putting together is pissing me off honestly.

Can we count just the LBs? I feel good there. Very good. It's the front four that scare me.

I don't know about "best", but we'll have one of the tops in the SEC, I think.
DE - CJ Johnson, Carlos Thompson, DT Shackleford, Channing Ward
DT - Issac Gross, Robert Nkemdiche, Lavon Hooks
Freshmen who could see high contribution - Breeland Speaks, Garrald McDowell

No one is talking about it, but Florida could have a scary good DL next year.

UF stands to be most improved next year on all fronts - if they stay healthy and find some sort of identity.

Florida has a lot of talent on the DL. A ton. And the incoming class is just going to make it stronger.
The question with Florida is, can they put it all together?
That's gotta be the most talented 4-8 team ever.

I think AU will have the deepest by far especially at DT. DE is going to be a little light so I don't know. In all honesty if you look at starting 4 MSU might be my pick. Of all the teams I saw AU play this year MSU was probably the most impressive in just holding the line of scrimmage and Chris Jones is a monster
