RCR has it's share as do GP and ED, but after the egg bowl, RCR was classic.

I mean ok. But I have never heard that. And I went to MTSU which is full of Memphis transplants.

Trust me, the rest of TN thinks Memphis is hood.

I followed your suggestion. Can you be more specific about what you find delusional?

Neurotic and delusional don't mean the same thing.

I've lived in Memphis area for 17 years...

but anyways back on topic I think Texas right now has the most delusional fans after the "we can buy any coach we want" issue

After watching Huston Madon struggle I don't think dawg fans are going to reach delusion levels. I think of he gets better we have a shot to be really good but at this point it's not reasonable to even think top 10 at this point.

After the egg bowl, there must have been 25 threads started on RCR as to why the Egg Bowl doesn't matter to Ole Miss and why MSU is not a rival game. That's a lot of threads to convince yourself that the game means nothing. Quite delusional IMO.

I've been reading the rant for a while now. I think I'm getting the hang of it. By challenging the original poster's status as a male, does that suggest that TeamCornbread has become overly emotional? Isn't this when that gorilla named James Rustles shows up? I should probably know this. My only excuse is that I'm a fully grown man.

It speaks more to the OP being so mad and probably screaming at his computer or TV whenever someone says anything positive about MS State without acknowledging OM as a better team/school/town/piece of arse.

LSU fan's definition of Delusional = ole miss fans predicting a win over LSU

2nd LSU definition = scurred lsu fans starting threads about ole piss, ole miss fans come to defend ole miss, this makes ole miss delusional

I'd have to go with the Ole Miss Rebels/land sharks/black bears or whatever y'all are now.

How about a fanbase that calls their colors "Harvard Crimson" and "Yale Blue" all the while being one of the poorest schools in the country and having the lowest entering freshman ACT scores in the SEC???
Think those folks might call dibs on the delusion trophy??

Are you serious? Is your criteria for what currently makes a fanbase delusional honestly what someone said in the 1890's?

The majority of ole miss fans know they are irrelevant.

Most delusional? Probably OM or TAMU.

I work closely with two ardent MSU alums and yes they are quite confident about next year. I think they have good reason for optimism, because of what they have coming back, but they really weren't very good this year. They are always going to be Moo St. no matter how good they are in their minds. I do think however this could be the year they break their losing streak to us...

No, I saw a good many who stated they were worried about the game.

State fans couldn't be found until after the egg bowl. Go figure.

I agree. It's completely unprecedented. Never before in the history of the internet has there been a website where a portion of a fanbase reacted negatively to a close loss to a rival team.
