This was going to be another "big year" for UGA
UGA fans were thinking another 9-3/10-2 type season. Who claimed it would be a "big year"?

Yep.

UGA is a top 15 program..historically, recently and seemingly in the future. Blue Blood is top 10

1) What 4 or 5 internet strangers type to your on their keyboard doesn't change the fact that we are or aren't

2) We don't like arguing with idiots. We do that enough on our own board.

No interest in your board,, you don't want any outsiders there anyway..

I just know what I'm hearing from the UGA fans and it's not good, little expectation of going to ATL this year and that's a lot different than the preseason talk. At this point you are hardly on course for 10-2 or even 9-3 wither you realize it or not.

well there's your problem. Even in the good years most of the board wants Richt's head. We have a frick ton of posters that don't post unless it's after a loss and they start their bi-annual "fire richt" thread.

Everyone here knows Mark richt will never be fired. So we will continue to suffer until marky mark decides to go build churches in Honduras

yea we know that feeling don't we,, hell our fanbase calls a trip to Shreveport a "championship".. 6 wins is a benchmark of achievement because of how bad it was 3 decades ago.

The fact that Butch seems to be safe is why I have no cofidence in the football program going forward.

If you bastards just took care of business we may have had a shot to dump botch this year. Beating you set our program back.

UT can't afford to fire another coach so soon imo.

Bert gets a real QB next year and hopefully avoids the injury bug.

If he can't win next year he's done.

Meh...

In 2007 UGA was 4-2 after 6 games with losses to a bad SC team and a bad loss to UT..we finished the year ranked #3 with an 11-2 record after a BCS win. 10-2 regular season.

In 2011 UGA was 4-2 after 6 games with losses to Boise State and SC. We ended up in the SECC and lost our bowl to a good MSU team. 10-2 regular season.

We have seen Richt "right the ship" mid season several times..
Maybe it won't happen, but I wouldn't count us out of the SEC East race.

LSU has a better than even shot at UF. If we can beat the "teams we should" (that includes you and KY) we will play UF in Jax for a trip to Atlanta.

Agree. I've even been patient with him this year despite the high expectations because of the injuries and schedule. But next year we won't have hardly any Petrino players left and 99% of the defense comes back. We might lose a lot on offense depending on who leaves early but he's the one who decided to hitch his wagon to Ricky Town so we'll see how that goes.

2 legit championships at a blueblood prog, would that keep any coach in his job no matter how bad it looks? This was going to be another "big year" for UGA and it's already done for, so he get's an infinite number of these seasons? Really?

Auburn has fired several coaches with better resumes than Richt.

The reality is, what has Richt won in the last 10 years?

CBB actually lost three of his top four backs and recievers since spring practice began. That and the fact the line is grossly overrated has been our demise. Still should have beaten Aggs and Toledo.
