So on Sat during the scrimmage this happened

Hurts had a nice TD run, still green

Barnett threw 2 more picks to make 6 total for two scrimmages

Cornwallis has a nice arm but kind of slow in the pocket

Bateman is quick and has a nice touch on the ball.

Bateman is the guy until further notice with Cornwallis and Hurts at the 2a 2b and Barnett at the 3-4.

Wow. I hadn't thought about him in years. That dude is right on the cusp as far as the beginning of my obsession with Alabama football. I was pretty young. From what I remember he was very highly recruited. He eventually lost out the job to Gary Hollingsworth. Hollingsworth is the first Bama QB I really remember well. Maybe our most unalthletic starting QB ever. Lol. But he was a pretty good QB from what I recall.

you are going to eat these words one day. poor QB play can be a killer I don't care who you are (or who you think you are).

you bama asshats have won so much since Saban yall all have become insufferable. you used to be a good poster. frankly, I wish all of you would just go find another board

Chill out senior citizen. All these losses to the various Alabama athletic teams seem to have worn your patience very thin. LSU fans would/have responded to Alabama folks the same way when the shoe's on the other foot. Remember, it's all in fun, and they're just games.

Cooper Bateman is the guy to beat.

This....I would expect Bateman to win the job at this point. Look at Saban's history in picking starters since he has been at Bama. Always the most senior guy who has been in the system and knows it. I heard him discuss this last year: The most important thing in Saban's view is protecting the ball and not making mistakes that lead to turnovers.

if I had a gun with 2 bullets, and hitler, bin landen and hil-da-beast walked into the room, I'd beat her to death with the butt of the gun.

Probably Bateman, but he's going to need to show better ball security

Ole Miss approves of Bateman. We have him on film.

If they haven't made a decision by fall camp, I'm willing to step in. I don't have Coker's arm or Sim's legs, but I do have their faith that the rest of the team will make me look magic.

I expect them all to look bad at A-Day, because it seems like the QBs always look bad at A-Day.
