Does Chizik have a job yet? I could see him doing very well there.

DrunkTigah,
Well, I guess you believe that Saban will coach there forever. He'll be resurrected in the Genetic Lab and programmed to coach indefinitely.
Gotcha.

John Holladay. Walker county high school in Alabama, look him up. Beast.

You are correct, he will retire in about 7-8 more years and then you and the LSU fans can then say:
"I told you he would leave"....

Three, he looks tired and bored this season. He wants a change of scenery.
Thats

Four, Texas and USCw are going to make him an offer he can't refuse after they fire their coaches.
Bama will match it.

he has control over everything in Bama. no one challenges this. you really think the Texas cigars will go for that? have you ever met anyone from texas? saban may leave, but it wont be for the Horns.
not to mention the longhorn network obligations. you know he is just dying to deal with that shite too.

Saban ain't going anywhere until he's surpassed Bryant on the NC list with 6 total. Saban doesn't want to be remembered as the 2nd best coach at Alabama. Those who say he has nothing left to prove, you just don't get it. he has more to prove now than ever.
He will retire one day, after the record, and we will assess the top head coaching candidate that has won at the major college or pro level and go after him. No more assistants, no more successful small school coaches. We learned our lesson. If the best coach in football is at UCLA, we will go after him. If he's at USC, Penn State, the Falcons or Rams, it doesn't matter. We will pursue relentlessly and pay what it requires. Availability will have nothing to do with who we pursue.

Are you kidding me? This guy has done more with 85 scholarships than BB did in his whole career. He also can't fix the schedule for the whole conference did as Bryant did his whole career. BB had 125 people on his team and decided who would play who in the bowl games. And on top of that Saban does not have a problem with the sauce that Bryant did
