Bertman is first...so that would make Miles second

I'd have Arkansas as..
1. McDonnell
2. Richardson
3. Broyles

I would say for LSU it is probably Saban or Cholly Mac as Bertman has to be at the top of the list.
If you are going to troll LSU fans, you should try to be more subtle.
At least put Miles on the list.
Hell Im not even a Miles fan and even I know he is no worse than a top 3 all time LSU coach.

If you include all sports, I'm not sure he makes top five, and I'm one of the ones who's still a big fan of his. Football, I'd put him tied at two with Dietzel.
Interesting, I'm not too familiar with LSU's other sports besides football and Bertman in baseball. Who would you have as top 5 for all sports?

Mizzou
1. Norm Stewart
2. Pinkel
3. Devine
I put Pinkel ahead of Devine because Pinkel had to turn around a moribund program while Devine took the reigns from Faurot himself. Also winning conference titles is harder now than it was in the 60s
Pinkel is also the winningest football coach in school history

I don't troll
I guess you forget the mess Saban cleaned from Archer and Hallman?
Saban was the springboard for Miles. I would say Arnsparger is top 5 in any list, but most people don't give him the credit he's due.
Longevity at a school is not a end all be all of determining how good a coach is. You can't blame Saban leaving for Miami.

I will never go against the Bear but Saban makes me think that its possible that one man can reach that GOAT status

lol, yeah Dinardo didnt do anything with the program at all.
Saban did not inherit a bare cupboard and build everything on his own.

Never said he did but he changed the culture and expectations within the program.
DiNardo built the pipelines but never cultivated them. You believe DiNardo was the right guy long term?
Arnsparger came in under worst circumstances and stabilized things. That's why I think of him highly. He also built UF as an AD, so his administrative skills and building of a culture are apparent.
ETA: Archer was possibly the worst FB hire ever made by LSU.

Dude, you really do know football. You know more about Arkansas sports than most Arkansas fans (sadly including myself). Did you grow up in the area?

Yes I went to school with Holtz Sutton and Norms kids.
I was at JFBAC all the time growing up my grandparents RV'ed on the hill North of RRS.

No, but he should be mentioned. He started it and handed the keys to saban.
I remember the day he signed Faulk. I thought thanks Gerry finally kids arent going for Florida, FSU, and Miami.

If LSU could've waited 2 years on DiNardo history changes. But he wasn't ready for prime time then.
Coach Mac did him no favors at CU erring him ready for a job.

Not sure we had much of a choice. Times were bad.
