Even as an LSU fan, gotta give the nod to UGA. You can't penalize them for playing in the SECCG and losing they way they did. Not much, anyway. They have 11 wins, rank them higher.

Since South Carolina beat Georgia and both teams have two losses, SC should be ahead of Georgia. As should LSU.

And Florida should be in the National Title game. They have a better resume than Bama.

And don't give me that "they didn't win their division or conference" bull. Alabama didn't last season but you guys didn't have a problem with that.

LSU beating USCe who beat UGA by 4 td's is better than UGA beating UF who beat LSU by 8. LSU beat A&M also.

Can you explain to me the process by which another team willingly forfeits 6 possessions to the other team? Is there like a form or something they file before the game designating when, where, and how said turnovers will take place? How is this not "throwing" the game?

LSU.

LSU's best out of conference win:
Washington (7-5)

LSU's best conference wins:
South Carolina (10-2)
Texas A&M (10-2)

Georgia's best out of conference win:
Georgia Tech (6-7)

Georgia's best conference wins:
Florida (11-1)

Georgia has beaten one team worth a damn. One team. One...

Georgia lost a game by 28 points. 28.

Not sure. How did Georgia gift South Carolina 27 points last year?

The win at A&M is the trump.

Just your typical SCar fan fan wanting to be in every discussion. They feel left out, I mean wouldn't you? They had their best 3 year run in 150 years and yet have nothing to show for it. What they fail to realize is if they had beat UGA by 70, they will always be an afterthought in the league of champions. In order to have a voice, you must have at least 1 trophy post 1970 that means something. Have a nice day

And what does UGA have to show for their best season in 20+ years?

An SEC East title? Cool.

The only reason Alabama won their division is because Florida took care of Texas A&M for them. If we hadn't beaten A&M, they would have been playing UGA.

Winning your division is not the deciding factor because the schedules are not equal. Each division has 3 really solid teams. UGA and Bama both managed to avoid playing any of the 3 teams from the opposite division.

UF, USC, and UGA all went 5-1 in the SEC East. The difference was UGA played Auburn and Ole Miss while UF and USC drew much more difficult opponents from the west. Florida managed to win both of their west games but USC couldn't, putting UGA in Atlanta.

Anyone who watched UGA get arse raped by Lacy and Yeldon yesterday knows UF was the better team over 12 weeks.

An SEC east title is more than USCe had to show for their best season ever?

Now you're comparing UGA history to SC history. Obviously an East title meant more for us because it was our first one.

Don't tell me you guys are happy with just an East title? My god how the "mighty" have fallen.

I, for one, am extremely disappointed in this season. This is one that is going to sting for quite a while. We had a classic Mark Richt bed-shitting halfway through the season and came up just shy of a BCSNCG berth. The fact of the matter is that Richt won't ever win THE big game and most of us have come to terms with that. Sure, he might win another SEC title if he sticks around long enough but that's simply because he recruits too well not luck up eventually. The University won't fire him because you can't really fire a guy who will win 9 or 10 games most seasons (Nebraska did and that one blew up in their face). We're stuck with Richt, we know we're destined to be fairly mediocre and we're coping.

Neither did Bama last year, but that didn't stop it from being ranked #2 and ahead of UGA. Think Gump, think.

I'd say LSU based on strength of schedule but then UGA won their division... of course that didn't stop Bama from getting into a national title so it appears to be irrelevant in BCS rankings
