Their problem is that they promoted a DC from within who is not SEC caliber. Replace that guy and they will back to competing for the East crown. Its not like they are in the west after all. Spurier owns Richt and Mizzou, UT, and UF aren't much.

I think he replaces his D.C. and moves forward.

Three 11 win seasons at USCe and a down season is ok.

Meh I definitely think Ward is an SEC caliber DC and could potentially be an SEC caliber HC. He simply doesn't have the personnel this year because our CBs were so late getting in and all of our DEs had to go the prep/JUCO route.

Hes a great recruiter that does work in the ATL area. I certainly hope he doesn't get replaced after the season because there isn't a single DC in the country that can put a decent defense on the field with a combination of shitty pass rush and shitty pass coverage.

Chad Morris. Would love to see this.

You think he'd be on the list of actual candidates?

I doubt it. Morris really wants to get back to Texas. I could easily see him taking the SMU job this year if SMU doesnt do something stupid and go after Brown or Nutt like its been rumored. SMU has tons of money to throw around, and it would be a great stepping stone job for Morris.

SMU is a black hole I wouldn't go near.

He'd be smart to stay wheres hes at. Hard to beat 7 figures as a coordinator

Yes indeed. And let's not forget 21-20.

It was only two short months ago I was told (quite angrily) by Cootopotamus that some shite seed of Sourrier was going to be the next HBC.

Has that plan changed?

Follow the trend, Holtz to Spurrier. Mack Brown or Bill Snyder.

Pretty much a lose/lose for anyone they hire.

CSS set the bar high at a school where the bar had been low before. Its going to be tough to keep it up that high for another coach unless he is a huge hire.

Wouldn't brag much about beating this year's team.

Also we don't need an injury excuse. We just suck.

Catch y'all next year bitches

Hold on, get to a bowl game and beat a B1G team and we will still carry you off of the field on our shoulders.

Most likely scenario.

I still think we see Spurrier for another 2-3 years.

I don't see him going out like this, but if he does, USCe should definitely look at Ruffin McNeil.
