This. Can obviously recruit the area well. Can't think of anyone that would be a better hire.

You think he'd be on the list of actual candidates?

That would be a nice place to audition to be A&Ms next coach.

I disagree with this statement if ward didn't know what he was doing he would have been canned a long time ago. Its easy to point the finger at the man in charge. This defense is just suffering from inexperience and an undersized d-line

USCe would be a great place for Kirby to start his HC run. Good talent base. Not crazy expectations. Less competition in the SEC east, but still SEC.

Spurier is fine, and his recruiting is good enough for them to reload for next year. Every team has an off year occasionally. Their problem is that they promoted a DC from within who is not SEC caliber. Replace that guy and they will back to competing for the East crown. Its not like they are in the west after all. Spurier owns Richt and Mizzou, UT, and UF aren't much.

Exactly.

But a coach or two is gonna be on the chopping block if this season continues to melt.

I think part of the fan base might initially be against it just because he'd be out of Clemson camp. But they hired our former HC as an assistant coach and it worked out well for them.

Guy knows his offense. Would have connections with all the areas we already recruit, and most importantly

1) Would piss off Dabo. God knows once you get in his head he loses his mind.
2) It would piss off Clemson fans.
3) He could tell us all their program secrets.
