I'll go homer and pick Arky to beat Bama before AU loses.

I don't think Auburn beats both Miss State and Clemson so I don't believe they'll make it to week four undefeated.

Penn State on teh road may be tough but the other two games are easy. I do think they'll beat Penn State.

I would say that Auburn loses first. If they both start 3-0, then things swing in Auburn's favor as Arky/@Florida back to back is rough.

I don't think anyone is comparing the Gators to the Tide?

Would it be that big of a boom if Bama finishes 10-2 while Auburn finished 7-5 or vice versa? The final record or Iron Bowl is a lot more important.

Honestly, who cares who loses the first game? That isn't really BOOM-worthy.

In a rebuilding year, you have to cherish even the small victories.

I believe we go into Columbia 3-1. I dont think we beat both Clemson and State but I also dont think we lose them both either.

Most coaches will have built a solid team by year three and are not rebuilding.

Bama will lose to Arky in the 4th game. Auburn will lose to Arky in the 6th game.

Agreed but most coaches would not have been handed the recruiting mess he was.

And I think you will see a more solid team this year than you think. Or want to believe.

Not great. But solid.

appeared to me you were butthurt because i said Auburn will lose first... and that you were saying we (UF)were going to lose before you... I have more faith in Florida beating UT and Kentucky than I do AU beating MSU and Clemson... just saying...

of course if we go to 4-0 we will surely be trying to survive in the swamp the following week

probably mis-read. either way... glad football is back

Most coaches don't lose as many seniors, as well as some important juniors in year 3. Also, the program is solidly built, just relying on inexperienced, but talented young players this season. The future is bright.

I always like it when my favorite Auburn posters go a little homer. It reminds me that y'all wear little Auburn hats and stuff. Otherwise, I just imagine you guys in Alabama hats.

I cant believe there are AU fans that think they will win the first 5 games. Losing record most likely.

He came in earlier than Saban did. His mess, gave him the core(O-line) to go 14-0. 2 straight top five classes shouldn't be rebuilding. Solid is a relative term. 7 is solid for some, while 9 is for others.
