Out of the top 25 I would have to say Mississippi State. They have the best rushing/throwing QB in the SEC. They almost came back and beat with a field goal. I think they can make a run this year for third or fourth at the most in the SEC. Here's to this...

LSU fan pumping up State to make it seem like they have a huge win this season....

question, if A&M beats State by say 10, does A&M now have a more impressive win than LSU on the season?

By your logic that must be the case.

We will see. I am really not too worried about the game. Ags will win going away IMO.

We have to too much offense and MSU can't run the ball that well which means they can't burn the clock. Not a good combination for MSU.

Serious answer: Alabama or Stanford. Stanford's loss to NW was a complete fluke and I just don't believe there are 12 teams in the country that are better than Alabama.

I also think LSU and Georgia are seriously under-ranked as well. They're both better than Michigan State, TCU and Baylor and I have no idea why Notre Dame and UCLA are ranked ahead of them as well. It seems like there's a serious media backlash going on against SEC teams after last year's disastrous bowl season.

Not really. They didn't try to run the ball with power that game... the entire game. They were clearly the second best team on the field that night.

If they played today they might win but that doesn't mean it was a fluke.

To your point about Bama and there not being 12 teams better than them. I agree with this. I can tell you there are 12 teams above them that want nothing to do with them.

I truly do think it's a case of State not blowing Dak's load too early in the season this year like last season. He was limping through the second half of the year last season. While I don't believe Shump is very good, we know what Dak can do.
