Nah, most SEC fans I know hated Bama when they were losing, too.

I did encounter plenty of LSU fans who hated us when we sucked, but it was only because they'd only see them beat us in Baton Rouge like twice in 40 years.

Tennessee imo

I'd bet a large amount of money that much of that hate was based solely on Kiffen.

Sure everybody hated kiffin but it just seems like everybody hatted us before then. Florida, Bama, Kentucky, Vanderbilt and for some reason Georgia and South Carolina don't seem to like us. Maybe it was because of fat Phil, Rocky Top, our puke orange etc.... The only teams in the SEC I don't like are Vandy, Florida and Bama. I have a mutual feeling towards the rest.

Cause they remember the beat downs we used to put on their teams...Plus most educated football fans knew we would not be down forever, so they were getting their shots in while they could.

Oh and BTW I hate everyone...

I've lived in Atlanta. Basically, the largest city in the conference and a good conglomeration of all schools fans coming together to some extent.

Tennessee is the most hated school in the conference, with Auburn a close second.

UGA, ALabama, and LSU all seem to have a respect for each other given their dominance in some of the major sports.

Miss. St. and Ole Miss are virtually none factors.

And I lived in Atlanta 5 years.

Most hated - Bama. No one else that close.

Most respected and liked, UGA and AU.

BlueIndian is correct. No one hates a loser, however. As a football fan, I don't hate any team or school. Are there teams we would rather beat than others, of course. As a USC fan I would rather beat Alabama than Illinois. Not because I hate Alabama, I don't. I respect there heritage, and there program, plus they are damn good. So beating them would be more pleasurable to me than some others. Oklahoma, Texas, Florida, Penn St, (Stanford ha ha)are others God bless America

You sound like a Tennessee Fan until they have a serious health problem and have to visit Vanderbilt Medical Center.

" can't think of any other team that is universally disliked in the SEC, although I think LSU's fans--or at least a certain segment of them--are pretty universally regarded as the most obnoxious in the conference......"

How do we not play within the rules of the game moron? You are saying our players cheat? How so?

And if you think that there really is some kind of conspiracy with refs and Bama, then you are a bigger moron than I thought.

Look its weird. It's not neccessarily all UofA. Auburn is part of this too. It just seems like lately when we have lost to Alabama or Auburn there have been so real obvious blatant CRITICAL blown LATE IN THE GAME calls. Is it coincidence? Probably. But you can not deny the fact that LSU has been hosed on alot calls in recent auburn and alabama games. I mean come on you saw those games we lost at auburn in 2004 and 2006. Worst officiated games i have ever seen.

Bama hands down, but I can at least respect Bama. Florida has been gaining ground on them for the last 20 years.
