We always do disregard the AU game.

DJ Swearinger was a bad arse. His hit on that tater and the unsportsman like penalty was worth every second.

He was great, I can still picture that motherfricker running circles around our D.
Thats was such a mystery to me

LSU and Bama both usually have lights out defenses, with Bamas usually being a spot or so higher than ours.

And JFF put it in yalls arse twice, yet fat fricking Chavis killed that kid

Football is a game of mysteries.

I'd say DeMeco Ryans was the best player on that team.

In the 27 years I posted, it goes as:

UF-7
UGA-5
lsu-5
Tenner-5
Aubie-5
Bama-4

Those were the bleak years for Alabama... post Bryant, pre Saban.

But Alabama did manage to win at least one SEC championship every decade, even those years, since the founding of the SEC. Only SEC team to do so.

Matt Stafford, Knowshon Moreno, and AJ Green on the same team and didn't win it. That's a crying shame.

What about Spurrier? I thought we always finished behind Georgia during his playing career.

Emmit & Jack were good, but neither were Heisman Trophy good.

1971-2000, LSU won one SEC title and 0 national titles. That's 30 years, with only one year to avoid (1986). Alabama's only options for players that fit the criteria of this list in the last 60 years are essentially the recruiting classes 1982-1985, 1993-1995, and 2000-2005. Whereas LSU could pick any players from 1971-1982 and 1986-1997. There are a few exceptions such as redshirts, transfers, etc. This post was edited on 5/5 at 11:38 am

What the frick is this babble?

It wouldn't matter if you had a 100 year span to chose from. Derrick Thomas was the baddest mother to ever fricking dawn a crimson jersey. He could single handily take over a game. Judging by your comment you were too young to fully appreciate his bad assedness

Derrick Thomas in my humble opinion had the best ever season for a football player ever

Better than Cam, better than Tebow, better than whoever the frick you want to name

27 sacks in one season. You have to be shitting me
