Maybe, but wasn't he a 400 meter runner, while Raymond and brazil both state champs in the 100 and 200 meters?

Nevermind, I thought Kavahra left the program also.

No clue what Kalio's 40 time would be BUT his fastest 100 is 10.27. With multiple in the 10.5 to 10.7 range. Regardless that's fast.

LINK

Fastest 40 if including recruits may be one of the Moore twins.

Calvin was clocked at 4.35 on laser.
LINK

Alvin was clocked at 4.38 on laser.

Edit: I just realized Alvin and Calvin are chipmunks. They are destined to be molded by Freeze's buck teeth.

Sorry, I forgot to subtract the SEC's .15 seconds for being SEC. My mistake.

Are we really going to talk track trash against former SWC schools here? Because if we are, the pigs and I might want in on this.

Wouldn't CAP be the workhorse next year?

I have a feeling it will start the season that way but I imagine by the end of the year Payton Barber and Roc Thomas will be getting most of his carries. Of course we run enough that there will be plenty to go around.

Wrong. Pig is quick but lacks straight speed.

I'd say Jalen Hurd has the fastest recorded 40. He ran a 4.37 electronic at a Nike Combine at 230 LBs.

We have 4-5 recruits coming in who are faster than any returning player on the roster.

Damiere Byrd is the fastest player in the conference, if not the country. At least he was before the knee injury suffered during bowl practice ... we'll have to wait and see if he returns that way.

Dexter my cluster was never the fastest on any team he was on. He ran a 4.5 but he was extremely quick.

And no one runs a 4.1 or even a 4.2 probably on the team.

That was hand-timed though, correct? I remember Onterio Mccalebb ran like a 9.24 hand timed at Combine, but his laser time was over 9.3.

Hand timed 40s are generally inaccurate. Find something electronically times.

Usually .1 to .2 second difference in hand and electronic times.

Yes, last season he was absolutely the fastest player in the SEC, he may be one of the fastest in the country.

Out of HS he was timed at 4.26 in the 40
He also set the National HS Record with 6.76 on the 60 meter dash.

He set a PR this past year at 6.66 for the 60 meter dash at a competition.

Message Posted by DoreonthePlains quote: Yeah. Olympic athletes totally can't run that. They actually can't. The fastest football players will compete at 40 yards with Olympic athletes. The training for a 40 yard dash and for the 100 m spring are actually pretty different in terms of stride and such.

This is pretty much BS. I've coached track(sprint specialist) and football for years. There is VERY little difference in how the two distances would be run. There isn't a football player on the planet who could beat an Olympic 100 meter finalist in a 40 yard dash. (Unless he is a combination football player/track sprinter)

I'm pretty sure it'd be Corey Grant for AU. He had a 10.48 100m time in high school.
