It's pretty obvious it's David Nutt.

Maybe, but I'm looking at it differently. What would David Nutt stand to lose in all this? He's still going to be the single richest Mississippian.

I think it's a younger guy who still has a future to worry about

Would he stand to lose? Maybe more than half his current business if State supporters found out he was buying players to defeat their team?

David Nutt isn't out there beating the bushes or chasing ambulances for clients. He's set. He's made. His money will still talk, even if he gets an NCAA reprimand. Imo

Are you in that group that boycotts stores that have Trump's daughter's clothing line? Football is big in the south, yes, but how stupid would you have to be to let who an attorney is a fan of influence your decision on hiring them? This guy is one of the most successful trial lawyers in the south, I highly doubt he's worried about losing clients cause they are state fans.

With that said, I do hope the names get released. Tired of all the speculation. Want everything put on the table.

+1

The only way to curb the Booster activity may be to get their names out in the public. They apparently didn't feel the need to cut their shite out while the NCAA was investigating and snooping around your program. So maybe a good dose of public humiliation will slow their roll for at least a little while.

If you are in a position that you need quality legal representation, and you can afford to get who you want, you really don't care what college team they pull for as long as you think they can win YOUR case.

We may yet find out. The State Ethics Commission was none too impressed with Ole Miss's attempt to shield itself from disclosure of information regarding the NCAA NOA. Apparently Ole Miss will be releasing the booster names soon, unless the Chancery Court in Hinds County blocks the release. Ethics Commission Tells Ole Miss to Produce Records & Names in NCAA Case
