You realize Bo didn't break 80 yards in 3 games he played in his Heisman yr, and didn't even score a TD in 3 of them either, right?

Bo was hurt during two of those games (TN and FL) and in the third he did not play the second half (East Carolina). He had 4 200+ yard games that year. Ingram had 5 games were he did not get 100 yrds and 30 yrds against his biggest rival. I think TR (2011) was more worthy than Ingram (2009), but neither were Heisman worthy.

Bo had a tendency to take himself out of games he wasn't doing well in.

I was at both those games and people knew he was hurt. This was a man who had two broke ribs and still ran for 147 yards against AL. Keep trying to rewrite history.

No rewriting to it. For someone that had 2 broke ribs, he sure didn't have a problem toting the rock over 30 carries a week later.

Peyton Manning was not only the biggest snub in the last 20 years, but in the Heisman history! He threw for 37 touchdowns in 97. Woodsens 8 interceptions that year does not even put him in the top 50 for a season. This was the biggest travesty in sports awards history. That is when I realized that the Heisman had become political.

So, this statement;

Woodson was the best player in the game that year. He deserved it.
