Chaney isn't elite or anything, but he should probably be top 3 or 4 by default. Put up good numbers everywhere he has been under lots of different coaches/ different schemes.

If you would like to see what a near flawless offensive gameplan looks like, I'd suggest you rewatch the USC @ UGA game from last season.

Out of curiosity, who won that game?

I don't remember.

I think someone said it already, but why the hell is Lane Kiffin #7? What has he done to warrant that? That's way way too high IMO.

He has called plays for arguably the best single-season offense ever, called plays in the NFL, and called plays as the head coach for two prestigious programs too above-average results.

He isn't Malzahn but he's in the top half of the league at least.

Henson is pretty damn good actually. I could see henson becoming the head coach at mizzou when drinkel retires.

I didn't know Jim Chaney is at Arkansas. I remember him having really good offenses at Purdue. He ran a spread, so I wonder how his philosophy will clash with Bielema's running attack.

It is Bobo, easily. There is a reason he was named '13 OC of the Year by 247. Cameron is the only other guy in the conversation and until he shows me some more in the SEC, he is a distant #2. Gus and Sumlin run their offenses and no other team has a serious argument here.

Also, I think I'd probably have Roper ranked a bit higher. Yeah, he didn't do it in the SEC, but it was Duke. frickin' Duke! That has to count for something.

They will mesh better with Allen healthy, we just had to play left handed. Should be better this year with all the stud OLmen we have to protect as well as three quality RB's. The TE's will be as good as there is in the SEC.

Why do people worry about Kiffin so much? If this list was done in 2008 or 2012 and McElwain or Nussmeier were ranked there, no one bats an eye. Both of those guys were virtual unknowns their first year to boot. It seemed to work out.

Ags,

Does Spav run the offense or is it Sumlin's offense?

I figured--perhaps incorrectly-- that Sumlin was running the O kinda' like Malzahn or Petrino

Ole Miss, State, South Carolina and Tennessee don't really have offensive coordinators.

This except it's 1a and 1b. Cameron's track record is as impressive and anyone's and unless last year was just a flash in the pan he's going to put up some impressive numbers while he's at LSU.
