This would be very tough for the committee and isn't very far fetched at this point:

Undefeated Ohio State (Big 10 Champ)
Undefeated Clemson (ACC Champ)
1 loss Alabama (SEC Champ)
1 loss Stanford (PAC 12 Champ) or 1 loss ND
Undefeated Baylor or Oklahoma State (Big 12 Champ)

Does the undefeated Big 12 champ get in over 1 loss Alabama?
Over 1 loss Stanford?
Over 1 loss ND?

Does it matter if the undefeated Big 12 team is Baylor or Oklahoma State?

I don't think it's too tough. You take the 3 undefeated and then Bama.

If it's a 1 loss florida vs ND/Stanford, then you have something

Easier choice.
Take the SEC Champ that didn't loss to a 3+ loss team.

I think this is what would happen too. Seeing ND get bumped out of the top 4 would definitely cause some talk, but that is almost certainly what should happen in that scenario.

True, that makes it a harder choice. Hard to imagine the SEC getting left out with a one loss champion. I still think it would be the 3 undefeated conference champions and 1 loss Florida over ND.

There will be a full-scale riot if a one-loss Pac 12 champ gets in over an undefeated Big 12 champ.

Gary Patterson will go on a hunger strike until there is a Big 12 team in the playoff, though he could probably last 5 or 6 years.

If Baylor or Okie State remains undefeated, I'm sure they will crack the top 4. The committee is just trying to send a message about weak OOC scheduling.

Agreed, I don't think that would happen. It's really about ND who they have in the 4 spot right now. They put themselves in a bad position having ND in the 4 spot. They will pretty obviously need to be replaced by an undefeated Big 12 champ, but a lot of people are going to be pissed at ND getting "jumped" if they win out.

UF would have wins over FSU Bama and Ole Miss with a loss to LSU. Is that better than Stanford who would have all the Pac 12 wins, a win over ND and a loss to a top 25 team

I also think a 1 loss Oklahoma is interesting. They are a name brand and that weighs in, and they would have won 3 big games at year end

This needs to happen. Every committee member would be forced to resign and we can go back to BCS like approach.
