I don't get why a UGA fan would post this. Even with the national they are ranked 2nd in their own state but clearly have the most talent and they have the most talent in the east with UF who fired their head coach but yet UGA couldnt win the east. A better comparison would be to show the results of the coaches with current team and recruiting rankings for all the players they had .
UGA has underachieved badly under Richt , the only one of the big 6 that doesn't have better results then UGA in Richts time there is the Vols and they have had 4 coaches and clearly less talent. In Richts time at UGA , BAMA , UF and LSU the 3 schools they recruit as good as , all have clearly better results and even Auburns results are much better.
If you consider UGA to be a second rate program in the SEC and not in the same class as LSU, UF and BAMA then you maybe able to say Richt hasn't underachieved , but if you think UGA is one of the big dogs then he has underachieved.

Where has Richt underachieved? We finish the season somewhere around the same place where we finish in recruiting which is around 10th or so? So tell me where he is underachieving? I made another post on the page before this one that tell's more about the recruiting. You're crazy if you think Georgia is second in our own state to Gt they play in the ACC and run a different offense than anybody else. So they usually get system players and leftovers!

We finish 3-5 in the SEC in recruitings and usually finish in that range in the SEC. Explain to me how Mark Richt underachieves.

I'm definitely not okay with it. I'm just tired of this argument. The teams that are winning championships have been out spending us for years and the admins are just now opening up their wallet. Most UGA fans realize this and Richt has about a three year window to bring home some hardware.

The excuses about resources are bullshite considering Missouri has won the east the last two years with worse facilities and a lower payroll. Florida also probably hasn't paid their coaches any more than Georgia has over the last 15 years

Do you not agree that since Richt has been at UGA that BAMA , LSU and UF the only teams that recruit as good as UGA have clearly had better results ? 99.9% of fans would take UF , BAMA and LSU's results over UGA's. Those teams have hardware .

Who was ranked higher in the poll that was posted by the OP ? Was it GT or UGA?
Ritchie has underachieved because he doesn't have the hard ware that the others teams in his conference have.

Those schools don't recruit as good as UGA. They recruit better, way better. No fricking shite that they have better results and the hardware. They should.

I know Bama recruits much better than UGA, and I am willing to be 50 cents that LSU and UF have as well.

14-15 years? Richt owning AU started 9 years ago, and I doubt AU has done "almost the same" vs Bama over this arbitrary time period.

That's the only argument I got, our rankings wouldn't actually match up considering the early departures. Some of those players that contributed to a higher rated class are no longer on the team.

I would say aub, uga and uf are about the same level. But Georgia and Florida put out way more NFL prospects than Louisiana and Alabama so their shouldn't be an excuse from those schools. Don't give me y'all share the state. There enough prospects to support 4 teams in those states and still have more NFL talent than every school not in Texas.

A lot of the state of ga best NFL prospects arent long term ga residents or they are 3 star kids that fell through the cracks.
