Um......no.
Miles's reputation alone would have Vandy recruiting at a level it has never recruited at. Does that mean more success? Who knows, but it would be worth trying.
I honestly doubt he'd have a huge effect on our recruiting. Franklin, who was a really good recruiter, brought in some talent we might not otherwise have gotten, but not really enough to elevate us to a different tier. I have no doubt Miles could bring in some talent, but he's not going to have the home-grown pool to pick from that he has at LSU. It's strictly theoretical, so we can disagree. I just don't see Miles being a good fit for a place with Vandy's inherent disadvantages.
I'd stick with Mason because he might not have Miles' recruiting ability but I'm happy with the impact he's made on our D even without LSU/Bama/UF levels of talent. Now we just need a decent OC....

I would take him at Bama if Saban was not available. He would not be my first choice but I think he would still do a fine job and would represent the university very well. Not nearly as bad as L5U fans are making him out to be.

In this hypothetical situation, would Nick Saban have just left the program? If yes, I think many fans on here would take him.

At least he isn't a gimmick

UGA seems fine with Richt until he decides to retire. I like Miles as a person but I don't think he's a great coach. Darn good recruiter though. Miles is very similar to Richt from my perspective.
