I'd say yes. Construct a few beer gardens but you cant take it out of the fenced in garden. Check ID's at entrance to avoid miners in there. Folks can come in, have a beer and return to their seats to continue enjoying the game. Bit of a comprise.

Would they be under $8 dollars a beer? Otherwise I'll stick to a water bottle filled with Bourbon

I imagine they'd be stadium prices, but you'd also get them in a stadium cup closer to 24oz. than 12oz. Bars usually charge between $2.50-$5 for 12oz. domestics

I am fine with it but I sneak miniatures into games anyway so it doesnt really matter to me

Once over the age of 18, I've never attended a Bama game that I didn't have my flask. Beer's for the tailgate, liquor for the game.

We already sell it in like 20% of our stadium. The south end, and the club areas along the sides. The north end will also sell it when that section is done.

The luxury suites have full bars inside, too.

We aren't far from having it.

If you would have asked this question in 93 i would have definitly said sell beer. Now that im older I dont want to sit around a bunch of drunks that go into a shark frenzy.

Maybe a compromise is that to get a beer they scan your ticket and each ticket is allowed 2 beer purchases.

You really think the people that get sloppy drunk are deterred by no beer sales? They're going to get drunk one way or another. The only reason I'd be against it would be people would always want to get up to go the concession stand and we have to constantly move out of the way.

I probably wouldn't buy it. I use the game time to sober up for the drive home. You can barely buy a coke in under 20 minutes in the concession line. A beer would probably take an hour.

Agreed. I mean would you want a bunch of college kids having as many beers as they wanted? 2 should be max.
the college kids are already loaded down with booze so that doesn't really matter

They should serve beer, but I don't really care since I just sneak in whiskey in a bottle anyway.
