It was a humor joke.
Like if someone calls you fat and stupid and you say Hey I'm not fat.

I'm glad we get Arkansas first. Everyone will be pumped about the opening game and it won't be one of those mid-late October games in between bigger games that causes everyone to not give a crap Arkansas.

Could Arky beat us? Yes it could happen. But I don't see AU starting slow this season.

Yeah - I am not going to be too upset if we lose to you guys. We aren't supposed to win that one and playing away makes it that much tougher.
But I will say that I'm at least a LITTLE more optimistic after watching our spring game. Offense was hit or miss. But the defense looked a lot more like a typical SEC defense. We weren't lining our CB's 10-15 yards off the receiver 90% of the time like the last 5 years. And some of the secondary guys who've been accused of being a little soft were actually coming up and hitting people.
Like I said, we've got an uphill battle in the way of that kind of win, but at least the defense, IMO, will give us a slightly better chance than last year.

that would be awesome

Who has the better chance winning opening weekend?
Arkansas or West Virginia?
Since the question is who has the better chance of winning, I'm going with Arky. I don't think they will win, but they at least have better chance than WV has of beating Bama.
I mean, does anyone truly give WV a chance over Bama, or at least a better chance than Arky over AU?

West Virginia
Who comes up with these questions?

Malzahn coached teams have a tendency to start slow. I'm glad we get Auburn week 1.
That is because he is breaking in a new QB. Not this year.

When I think of auburn, the word pain doesn't really jump out at me. Y'all have a more cutesie philosophy like Oregon and A&M.
hell yeah man, I'd rather play "tough guy" football rather than that win games with that cutesie shite.
I always look for the pain factor when searching through game stats the next day.

Arky is the sec game I am least worried about by far.
1. Arky isn't that good.
2. I expect our experienced offense to be clicking from the start.
3. We are gonna be pissed after the way last year ended.
4. It is at home.
I'm expecting a blowout. 20-30 point win.

Auburn is the sec game I am least worried about by far, I'm glad we do not open up at Vandy or Tennessee.
1. Auburn's luck will run out this year.
2. I expect our experienced offense to be clicking from the start.
3. We are gonna be pissed after the way last year ended.
4. It is at Jordan-Hare which is the defacto Reynolds Razorback Stadium East.
I'm expecting a comfortable win, dominating the time of possession and witnessing Auburn hurry up to score in the final minute to cut the lead to 21 and make the score appear to be respectible.
