Outside of A&M with Arizona State, Bama with Wisconsin, and Tennessee with Oklahoma those at the top are getting the benefit of playing their in state big brother

Lets face it, we all usually play one team that is OOC that matters. The other three are almost automatic wins every year unless something catastrophic happens.

The rankings should be based on that one team. Is Arkansas State really anymore dangerous than Western Carolina to a SEC School? Not really

A couple of teams have two tough OOC games which makes theirs the hardest

LSU schedules OOC better than just about any team in the league. Not worried about a down year because they
play Syracuse and a bunch of patsies.

Outside of ASU and Wisconsin, all those schedules are terribly boring.

Overall, I think the SEC should improve its out of conference scheduling. Scheduling FCS schools is pathetic. I am glad we don't have any on our schedule this year.

You lost to an FCS fairly recently, right? For now two seasons in a row, you're opening with two cupcakes and then Kentucky. When's the last time you left Florida for an OOC? Next year, you open with UMass and North Texas. Shut the frick up.

How is Memphis ranked so low? They ended last season ranked in the top 25. Did they lose their whole team?

because a 10-3 season at memphis is an anomaly. but to answer your question, they lost their starting running back and only return 3 starters on defense

While it doesn't hold the same excitement, I'm just fine with 4 wins.
Playing Oregon and West Virginia did nothing for us in 2011 except for earning us a spot to play a team that we'd already beat. A team that got in to the national championship with 1 loss and an OOC schedule of Kent State, Penn State, North Texas and Georgia Southern.
I'm fine with the rent-a-wins for a year or two.

The SEC needs to show some balls and stop playing FCS teams in Nov. Stop playing them all together and play teams in your own division.

1. Not an LSU fan, so I'm not making the trip
2. I understand the Carrier Dome is not in NYC. Does that mean someone going can't go to NYC?
3. Y'all are missing the point. It's a road trip across half the damn country. There are thousands of things to do.

Well, after playing the likes of:
Oregon, Washington, TCU, Wisconsin, North Carolina, West Virginia, Arizona, Arizona State, Virginia Tech,
etc. ALL SINCE MILES TOOK OVER, I think one year of a not-so-great OOC schedule (not that Syracuse is horrible) won't hurt us too much.

Ba Ba Ba BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM

+ 178,468,684,984.

We played #3 Oregon and #14 West Virginia. We outscore a schedule of 9 teams with winning records and 8 bowl teams to the tune of 500-123, won our conference championship, and we were
""""""""""""""" R E W A R D E D """"""""""" by playing a team that scheduled Penn State, a team that LOST AT HOME to a division opponent, and a team that finished third in their own conference.

Yeah, that seems fair !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
