Eehhh I'd say UT, barely. Butch seems to have a good thing going and they were close in a few more games last year. I just don't think aTm is gonna get anything close to what they're expecting out of the QB position.

I think UT is one year away from being competitive, so I’ll take A&M. I see the Aggies going 8-4 or 7-5. As good as Johnny was, he never could make up for a shite defense. I don’t see it getting any better.

Ya keep thinking that.
Mauk, Murphy, Ray, and Golden will more then make up for all of those guys. Also Sam wasnt even the best DE for us last year, it was Ealy. But keep under estimating Mizzou, we like being underdogs.

Just the opposite. I follow modern college football, not what the frick happened pre-playoffs (aka the REAL era of football).
Tenn has the largest recruiting budget in the country because it has to poach kids. Texas A&M is based in Texas.
A&M is building a stadium bigger than Tenn's, with pretty much everything else nicer and newer as well already. Plus we have more money (as in wealth of alumni) going forward to invest in these facilities. Tenn is broke and the AD has to give money to the school.
For fanbase we have the largest school in the SEC cranking out the most alumni. Again we are based in Texas, where single cities have more people than the entire state Tenn is in.
Bottom line, A&M is sick of being a bottom feeder so we are using the fracking boom to buy our way to college football relevancy. Because it is a null-sum game, some old major program has to give up their spot on the national stage for us to sit down because the average fan will only care for about 15 teams at any given time. That program will either be Tenn or Nebraska. Deal with it.

Actually my post is wrong. A&M can't take Tenn's spot of national relevance because Oregon already took it. We are gunning for Neb's and OU's.

114th in the NATION (embarrasingly bad defense)
And still won 9 games... Just think how much of a problem we will be in 2 years on the defensive side of the ball with these 4 and 5 star defensive recruits dropping into college station like panties on prom night.
Its a scary thought and you should be scared.
