Leonard Fournette

I agree. I never said who I thought had a better season. But I think there are plenty of factors that should be added in if you're going to look at strictly numbers. What the team accomplished is irrelevant when you're talking about individual statistics.
That said, yeldon obviously had better numbers and a better season. But I think Fournette is a better back and would have had better numbers if he were in Yeldons shoes as a freshman.

You may be right. I think they are both good SEC RBs. Neither one is gonna have Barry Sanders numbers because of the rotation they are in. Yeldon didn't even break 1000 this season because Henry almost did, himself.

TJ is a thug POS. He could rush for 2k yards a year and I'd still be wishing him a career ending injury.

the answer is JK Scott

One had AJ Mcarron and the other had Anthony jennings.
Also, leonard fournette is better as 18 year old true freshman than Yeldon was in his last year at bama.
Lf had more yards and a higher ypc. Only an idiot would think Yeldon has anything on LF

Player B is a freshman TJ Yeldon, that also had a better freshman season than Fournette
Lf's true freshman year was better than TJ's junior year. Facts

So you just discount Yeldon's first 2 years, Rick? He averaged 6.15 and more yards. As freshmen, they were the same backs, with TJ having better stats. Leonard will be fine.

Well when rb stats are similar i look and see who was playing qb and the passing attack. For 2/3rds of yeldon's career he has the best bama qb , ever. LF had, statistically, the worst lsu qb in my life. Our qb threw for less tds than LF had this year.
I do agree Chubb is better than both

Like I said, no Bama or LSU back is gonna put up Barry Sanders #s just because they rotate backs so much. Leonard will have more yardage next season, more TDs, and maybe a little more YPC. Chubb looks to be the man, though. He's got electricity. That Buckeye is real good, too.

Player A did it with half his games against teams in the upper 3rd of DI rush defense; #4,#12, #13,#23, #29, #44. That's what makes his numbers stand out. Between the good defenses and limited carries due to coaching decisions he still had a pretty good 1st season.

How about this? They are both bad arse motherfrickers who will continue to shine in college and make great pro RBs.
