People love to say that "Fournette likes to cut" so it favors Henry. Even if Fournette can't cut as well, Fournette is still harder to tackle going vertically.
And? yes he is still hard to tackle, but it does take away that element of his game...which imo, is one of the biggest improvements he has made.

The correct answer is that rain favors Bama by a little, but not enough to really matter.
Why? Because while Bama needs to throw the ball to win, LSU has to. Bama, under Saban since 2008, has never been beaten by the rushing attack of the opposing team. Never. LSU has to throw the ball to win, as does any other team in the country versus Bama. Rain hurts the passing game a tick. Advantage, Bama. However, it's not at all a significant advantage.

You dumb. Bama needed 3 pick 6's to beat A&M

No Bama fan wants to admit this but the LSU defense is going to expose our offensive line for the joke it is.
If by the slimmest chance they get their shite together Saturday night then watch out 'cause Coker/Ridley are dangersous when Coker isn't running for his life.

LOL. You are so caught up in your invincibility, it is absolutely comical. You haven't played against a back like the 2015 version of LF. BAMA MUST throw the ball effectively to win this game. You act like LSU has a bad run defense...they are right there with bama....and bama has played four teams with very poor running games. Tenn exposed Bama's run

Bama beat A&M's @ss and got 3 pick 6's in the process.
And I have never understood why a football fan would uses takeaways - not giveaways - as a knock against the quality of a win, particularly in this case when Bama's D was destroying everything A&M was trying to do, and Bama's O was moving the ball at will.
Sorry, anyone who thinks domination in a team game solely lies in offensive numbers is a dumb@ss who never played the sport, and the quoted post insinuates that if Bama had simply forced A&M to punt and drove for scores, that would have made for a more dominating win that snatching multiple balls out of the sky and housing them. Ridiculous. The quoted poster would be better suited in the Big12.

I don't think it favors anybody but LSU has been in a downpour twice this season and I think LSU would adjust to it quicker than Bama because they have not had to deal with the elements yet... Not a big advantage but timing could be important.

I think we have a stronger committee of running backs. Yes Henry is good, but Fournette is better. After Henry, do the rest of the Bama backs compare to Williams and Guice. Fresh legs of the running backs can make a difference on a wet field.

I am not saying that Bama, or Bama's D, is invincible, nor am I knocking Fournette. However, I am saying that Fournette cannot run through a blocked line, and Bama doesn't need to "stop Fournette" - we need to win the LOS on running downs against LSU's Oline. History, as well as Bama's front 7 performance this year, says that we can and will.
I'm not saying LSU can't or won't win the game. They might. I'm just saying LSU has to throw the ball often and effectively to win, and Harrison, not Fournette, will be LSU's most dangerous weapon against Bama and our biggest concern. Your chances lie in your QB. And if he gets time to operate, your chances are pretty good.

Bamascoop is definitely an alter. Likely an Aub.

We played our best game of the year and beat GA's @ss in an ever-increasing monsoon-ish downpour in Athens. Remember? It was the same weekend that flooded the Carolinas because of hurricane. Do you even watch football, bro?

Bama... Derrick Henry's mother was a mudder.

Yes, Drake can be very good and not so good at times but he's a threat for sure and we have freshman 5* #1 RB last year in Damien Harris as a 3rd back up.

None of them were great defensive plays. 2 of them were over throws and 1 was thrown to the Bama DB w/out an A&M WR within 5 yards. The 2 over throws, the WR's were wide open.

LSU because they've recently played a game in said weather

LSU's first game against McNeese State was even cancelled due to weather-related issues. The Western Kentucky game was another Death Valley game hit hard by Mother Nature. Alabama on the other hand played Georgia while a tropical storm ravaged the Atlantic Ocean the weekend of the game.

seems like more of a straight-line runner. Fournette cuts more, and didn't look that great in the rain against Western Kentucky.
I'm trying really hard to be a realist tonight. Rain will favor Bama. And I hate it

Bama. It complements their passing game better and Henry is more of a straight line runner.
