Louisville is a shite town. No one should go there until they get their police under control.

Is it the police? Or is it the shite heads that make it a shite police dept in a shite town??

I hate to be negative but I'd say both. The police there are some of the worst and most brutal. The people who control the cops pay lip service to reform. But to be fair, if I lived in Louisville, I'd be bitter too.

I want to go back to the 12 teams we had post 91 expansion and keep divisions. frick expansion and catering to corporate money

I want the old SEC and all our traditions and culture to remain intact
Look on the bright side, now we can have all the rivalry games we always dreamed of. Wen should schedule 9 game conference games and at least 1 vs a fellow P3 conference.

If/once the SEC expands, I hope they look to the southeast.

Which means FSU, Clemson, NC State, maybe GT.

Keep geographical integrity!

Georgia Tech is interesting. A very good school in a major city/air hub. Plus it would keep the Big 10 out of Atlanta. How do Dawg fans feel about them?

I was born here. I live an hour away from there now. I can affirm that you pretty much hit it on the head.

The cops are dicks. But it takes a dick to deal with the special brand of folk that prefers to live inside Jefferson County ... Louisville.

And it's a different type of dick depending on where you go. The West End of Louisville is your typical thug area. The South End rivals any Texas border town. And the East End will give any affluent suburb in Connecticut or Massachusetts a run for their money.

It's a Mid-Atlantic town, stuck in that in-between the South and Mid-West. For a while, "Make Kentucky Great" tees were selling. It was a map picture with a wall around Louisville.

Louisville fans are the worst. They like to crash our boards with nonsense and we haven't played them in over a decade. They like to pretend they are elite in all sports. We have not heard from them since before the last basketball season.

I think the SEC needs to go rob the Big 10 and snatch USC and UCLA away from them to add some sparkle, glamour and pizzaz to our conference.

So, you wanna tackle the cross country travel/schedule part?

I think the SEC should expand to 24:

I've heard the SEC may go to 32 teams

"32 teams"? WHO said that?

“Florida State would seem a natural fit for the SEC. How come this never happened?”

I love and respect Bobby Bowden but he never wanted any part of the sec. I know he wanted the Bama job his whole life but that was to coach Bama, not play in the sec.
He was asked why they went ACC instead of sec back in the mid 90s and he said “well, I’m not stupid”.

Virginia Tech and Clemson would be nice. VT would bring in the mid Atlantic/DC market. Clemson and USCe in the same conf would be fun

Miami/FSU and UNC/Duke for some UT/OSU type rivalries.

Ohio University

I recognize they're mentioned in jest but I would absolutely love it as I'm only 25 minutes away but they will NEVER be a fit for the SEC. Facilities, culture, politics ...... nothing says SEC.

Beautiful campus though and Athens is an interesting place.

Okstate best option by miles for rest of Big 12. Winning culture in all sports, a college town whose homecoming annually brings in more visitors than there are living TCU alumni (80,000), and pisses money into facilities.

Everyone wants shitty schools that you never see in the Top 25 in any sport like VA Tech and NC State. Give us that SEC conference money and see how we do compared to other schools with similar budgets.

Oh and culture? Red Dirt Country music was founded in Stillwater. Look up Calf Fry lineups over the years. Tailgate better than A&M does, we have an outstanding Greek life.

19th in media views the past decade, we’re closer to Dallas than fricking LSU & Arkansas. shite were 2 hours from Fayetteville.

But why Ohio and not Cincinnati who would at least be competitive in the SEC.
