I know. It just sucks that we can't even play the whole damn conference. I mean Bama hasn't played Kentucky since the 09 season, and probably won't play USCe and UF for another few years. It just sucks. They need to either add more games to the schedule, or get rid of some of these rivalries. Either way no one wins.

Heard it explained the other day that this sets up for good odds that there will be no rematches in the SECCG according to the computer.

I thought long and hard about it, looked at the various schedules, and to some degree it makes sense.

Think about it, there was the SC/Auburn rematch in '09, but none since and even fewer since they handed the scheduling over to that computer consulting firm that is doing the algorithms with the conference scheduling.

Has there been a rematch in Atlanta other than SC/Aub in '09 and UF/Auburn in 2000? I honestly do not know.

Had to stop myself from posting " what's the big deal about rematches in the Championship game?"

Bama and Florida in 1999. LSU and Tennessee in 2001. UT beat LSU during the regular season but LSU beat them in the SECCG. Also Auburn and Tennessee back in 04. Auburn went undefeated that year.

That is why I wish we went to a 10 game SEC schedule(yea I know, will never happen). We can keep the rivalries, and still play the other teams semi-regularly. I know personally I don't want LSU to not play UF, Bama, AU, Ole Miss, and A&M every year. But I do wish we played the east teams more often. I don't like the 9 game idea simply because of the difference in home and away games.
If you could do a 9 game schedule with every team having a neutral site game, that would be cool.(yea I know, won't happen)

2-0 in rematches in Atlanta. Too many 21-0 rematches in New Orleans.

Duke or WV. Complete opposites, both suck. And Texas.

I'd be ok with UNC, UVA, VTech, NCSt, OU. At most one from each state.

Who do I not want?

Kentucky, Mississippi State, Missouri, West Virginia, Virginia Tech, Oklahoma State, Kansas, Kansas State, NC State, Wake Forest.

And for the no one from an existing state I agree with 1 exception. We should get Texas. Otherwise though if your state has a school already we do not need another. Well unless we go to 20.

Vandy vs UVA or UNC. The Nerd Bowl
One of those nerds will probably save your life as an MD after one of you Gumps injures himself doing something illegal in your trailer and then yall might hire a Vandy, UVA or UNC lawyer to defend the said illegal activity.

Duke or WV.

If coupled with UNC Duke I think would be good, since it would make the SEC the top basketball conference. WVU I don't really have a problem with, but would like them to stay in the Big 12 with VA Tech added. It's a great rivalry I would like to see it returned.
OU would be a great addition I think, but unfortunately they are tied to OSU.
I want 2 eastern teams, so Mizzou can move West, like they should be, and so LSU doesn't lose Bama and Auburn as yearly opponents.

A school with the shitty football program from the ACC. The divisions are unbalanced as it is. Having a school like NC State or Duke joining the SEC and being placed in the SEC East would be a joke. If the SEC expands, they better add a good football school like Florida State or Virginia Tech.

FSU won't happen, and I don't think Va Tech will be shite after Beamer leaves. Either way, they are shitty fans. If we want UNC and Duke basketball fans, lets just add Duke and UNC.

Adding UNC and Duke will frick up the divisions even more unless the SEC decides to go to a pod system. The SEC East will have Duke, Kentucky AND Vanderbilt in its division. Mississippi State and Ole Miss are considered the bottom feeders of the SEC West and those programs are significantly stronger than the three weaklings from the SEC East. The SEC needs to start adding stronger football schools that are located in the eastern time zone.

Clemson. We already take care of the SC market and I'd rather not see them get their hands on SEC money.

Without going into current SEC states, what schools really add to football. VT somewhat, but they will be on level with Ole Miss in the SEC. We don't get OU without OSU(rather UNC and Duke for basketball)
I personally would like the pod system. The only down side to that is I doubt LSU would be able to play, A&M, Ole Miss, Auburn, Bama, and UF every year. A win against MSU every year would be nice
