Hayes and Biletnikoff with the stick-um.

Reggie Nelson maybe?
that was my first thought as well

But without that INT by Ahmad Black against Oklahoma, I'm not sure we win that game. Black made some huge/timely plays throughout his career

I'm honestly not old enough to have seen him play live but I've seen his games on YouTube and the guy was just a monster. I don't think he was quite as impactful in college as he was in the NFL but he was still one of our greats.

For Alabama, I think we are about to see one of the best in Tony Brown. He's further along than other DB has been under Saban.

One of the more talented players to come through Alabama IMHO.

I forgave his napkin autograph a long time ago.

Could hit like a freight train! If I recal correctly...isn't he one that also used to cover his socks and hands with the yellow glop sticky stuff?

Lester Hayes did not hit you like a train. He covered you like a glove and tried to bully you off the line.

He used his look to scare people. Once the Raiders traded for Haynes then they were almost unbeatable. You could not throw it on them as Mike Haynes had one side on lock and Hayes had his down.

I thought SURE I remembered him as a big hitter. maybe it's the age thing, again. I'm having to fall back on that excuse a lot lately!

Youre probably thinking of Tatum as the huge hitter for Raiders. Lester just looked mean.

Well...I DO remember Tatum being a big hitter, too. But I think I will just keep my mouth shut (for a change) so i don't say anything else way off base!
