I do agree, both on free speech grounds and pragmatically. I think racism should be out in the open so non-racists will know who to avoid and mock. That is, anyone who feels the need to join something as unnecessary as a union of white people to defend against injustices that don't exist is worthy of being either mocked or avoided entirely. I don't believe that people who are subjected to poor treatment should be criticized for banding together - it's the only way that certain people have ever received any fair treatment from majority populations. There is a reason that the Revolutionary War happened. There is a reason why the bus boycotts and civil rights marches happened. There is a reason why the KKK is universally hated and mocked.
As for being intolerant of views other than my own: I certainly prefer my own, but I disagree with people all the time. Some can even defend their viewpoints intellectually. The ones that base their views on a sense of superiority based on race are only worthy of being mocked or avoided. They will never be convinced by logic. The good news is that they are dying out quickly.

So, no one could ever be racist towards Whites?
It is racist for Whites to form a union to help each other?
I'm glad you are open and honest about your bitter racism and bigotry towards Whites. It helps to have a more honest discussion.

So you think any white person who wants to be with a group of only white people is racist.
I assume you also think the following groups are racist:
Black student unions
Congressional Black Caucus
NAACP
La Raza
UNCF
etc.

I couldn't disagree more. As an Auburn alum I want anyone who is at the forefront of their particular field/profession/belief system/etc. to come and speak on campus. As long as they show up, respect the campus and the people that call it home, and then leave come on with it. Diversity of application is welcome to me.

Actually, a public university is compelled to allow citizens to speak on its campus. Government doesn't get to decide acceptable speech (yet).
Private school? They can do as they wish.

If you can't see the difference between wanting to preserve privilege (or, in some cases, increase privilege) and banding together to increase accessibility to the same rights and privileges that are held by the majority, I don't know what to tell you. How do you feel about the Civil Rights movement in the 50's and 60's? Do you think that the Montgomery Bus Boycott was racist?
