A&M was a top 5 team in 2012. LSU wasn't even top 10. It was an upset win. Why would an explanation be necessary?

Your reasoning is that the game was a fluke because A&M had a higher ranking at the end of the season? That's the best argument that you can make?
LSU was ranked higher at the time, if I remember correctly.
Vegas had LSU winning the game. By definition, it was not an upset. Nice trying, though.

A&M was a better team in 2012 than LSU. It was a top 5 team. LSU wasn't even top 10. When the better team(A&M) loses to the shitty team(LSU), it is an upset.

The fact that Vegas had LSU to win and not aTm means that it was not an upset.
The vegas odds are moved by what people think and bet toward. The fact that more people bet for LSU to win makes it not and upset. Its just an opinion of yours that LSU was the underdog not the nations.

I'm not commenting on Vegas setting a line based on public opinion, simply that A&M was better than LSU in 2012. Sometimes the score doesn't reflect that.
